This is such an amazing tutorial that I wish I had found it sooner. My current inventory system just... doesn't want to talk with my player, so I'm going to be refactoring based on this model, and just hopefully repurpose the "Character" grid into a Hotbar, which the ability to select an area of weapons based on which Hotbar slot is selected. You've laid the foundation for me, I hope I can get it to work before going crazy

Thank you ! In the next video, I hope you cover the topic of the shield. There's a shield that reflects damage, and there's a shield that reflects projectile .

Thank you, the video is awesome, but I think you should add about power, the longer you pull, the farther the arrow goes, just like in the original video.

thank you , good asset 😍 I watched the original video and noticed that items like bow and tome, when they accumulate enough energy, can create some kind of effect. Hopefully, the next video will show you more about them.

In your next video, I hope you can cover the topic of gathering enough energy. For example, when you use the tome fire, if you accumulate half the energy, the damage is 60, but if you gather enough, the damage is 120. Thank you !

Hi 16BitDev, you remember your tutorial of how to make a main menu in Godot 4? It worked for me! But it would be great if you also taught how to make a language selector following the basis you had made in that video, it would be quite useful, I look forward to it! :). Btw, good video

thank you so much for this video i love your videos clean calm and so informative. i have a request can you please make a stat system to the weapons so that every weapon can vary between rarities from common uncommon to rare and epic and each rarity has its own buffed stats

Music in Different Areas with area2D and CollisionShape2 I am Currently developing a game for a projact at my university (simple 2D Topdown game). I have a map with 4 different areas. I want to change the background music as i enter the each area (area2D & CollisionShape2D). But i dont know how to do that. Could anyone help me?

This video is great and nice to follow along even for a beginner! Thanks so much! But still I get this errors: @ set_damage(): Node not found: "Hitbox" (relative to "CharacterBody2D"). and Invalid set index `damage`(on base `null instance) with value of type float i checkt everything and I did everything like in the tutorial. can somebody say what's going wrong here?:(

check the name of the Hitbox in your player scene, if its hitbox then you have to type hitbox, its case-sensitive, the name should match when dealing it in the script, or will will return null.

@@leztrescales put a delay property in the class Item, and in the function that plays animation write, time = item. delay

That is indeed Bardent asset, but the one they are using is a version I redrew while I was learning pixel art.
