Just a suggestion for Sootch and anyone else...as a former FMF corpsman, in my experience and training if you need a tourniquet, you need it now. Might want to find a place for your tourniquet that isnt behind any other objects or if it all possible attached to the outside of your pouch and ready to use.

Sootch, when I first watched this video, I immediately purchased the bag! It's perfect for it's intended use! Only difference is I don't keep a pistol with it. If I'm grabbing this bag, I'm already wearing my plate carrier with a 1911 full size and a compact Cobra Patriot polymer frame because it is made to use 1911 mags. Full size mags protrude just a bit. Also, it carries an AR 10.5 pistol, as I will have my battle rifle. I have several of these for all of my vehicles. This is by farcone of my top 3 videos from you! Such a great idea for those who are seriois about personal safety and the safety of others. Thank you for makin g such a great video. LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC!!!

a turnaket (poor speller sorry) is very important. you need two or three in places easy to get too. the plate carrier a battle belt with a first aid mark clearly .it's not just others that might need it one day so mark it up tell others too.as for mags I kept mine on the left of my belt and cumberband on the plate carrier .the front needs to be clear its so you could lie deep as possible .when someone shoots lie down as flat and that goes for head legs and torso. whatch the weight a young shooter might carry because they can take it .work how long you might be home , in car etc then your a fit man how long if you've took a hit.?

I can recommend the folding medical shears from Leatherman. Includes a carrying case. Contains angled sissors, glass breaker hard point, small wire cutters, markings showing inches and millimeters for injury measuring assessment, and, a small seat belt cutter. Made in the USA too. High quality stuff. Takes up minimal space in your case. About $45 bucks.

Big fan of Sootch00 as well as Sensible Prepper channel. Two things I differ with you here, (1) I would pick a case just long enough to fit my AR without having to take it apart, preferably a double rifle case with exterior pockets and build around it. Don't want to have to assemble my rifle in an emergency. (2) Glock 19. Or any handgun system where mags are interchangeable. While your 17 mags will fit your 26, 26 mags won't work in the 17. I find the 19 gives me the best of both worlds and have my system built around 3 of them. All mags and holsters work. Just my thoughts but there's a reason they make chocolate and vanilla. Thanks for all the great information.

One thing to consider is your state laws on a "loaded weapon". Some states consider a weapon loaded if the ammo is in the same area or container as the weapon. It doesn't necessarily need to be in the weapon if it's a rifle. Some states require the ammo be in separate containers or compartments of the vehicle, to transport.

great set and complete with all the accouterments one could possibly need. my only concern in a home defense situation is the time lost putting that rifle together in a life and death scenario, i.e. home invasion, assuming you don't have a sidearm readily available. as a bug out bag in a situation where you need to scat with immediacy it's a great setup. The only other thing I might include is a less-than-lethal solution and possibly a GPS in case I get caught in unfamiliar territory as I am being chased by zoombies.

I signed up for the Prosounds Kick Starter at the beginning of this year in March. We are now at the end of the year in November and I have not rec'd any product, nor any email from them saying when I may be receiving their product. I have gotten plenty of unsolicited emails trying to get more money from me for other products they have in mind. Based on them missing the July delievery date and the total lack of communication from them, I want nothing to do with a company like that and tell others to steer well clear of Prosounds, even though it Prosounds received a glowing recomendation from Soocth. I wonder if his were free or if he paid for them ? Full disclosure is the only way to go. I notice that there has been no follow up on the product or the dilema about what to do about subcribers like me and manyu others who listened to Sootch and James Yaeger and were taken advantage of. The silence is deafening ... I posted this here, due to being unable to post in the Prosounds video comments, which appear to have been disabled.

In what situation would you need the X300 on your Glock and have time draw your handgun and then put it on?

Great video. Any suggestions for a weapons go bag that a Socom 16 would fit in? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for another great video, Don! I am considering putting one of these together with my MaxP Doppelduffel, but it's a little large. The Doppelduffel used to by my 72-hour kit, but I switched to a Vulture-2 (much better, but I still need to thin it out ;-D).

i'm kinda curious why you had a rigid suction cath in your first aid kit...like idk how you'd be able to utilize that in the field. great vid as always though!

No Flir or suppressor? They'll see and hear you coming. Good bag for everyday driving though. Great scope too. I load up for cross country travel. With my luck it'll all happen when I'm out of town. Thank you for talking me into body armor:)

Nice video, Sootch. Too bad apparently half of the people leaving comments fail to understand this isn't a bug out bag. For goodness sakes people, watch some of his other videos. Sootch is well covered on those bases as well.

Nice if I was going that way hands down would go with something from SOE , I do have one of his work bags set up . Just not with an AR Hand gun and everything thing else . What good would that be if it ripped apart. Nice set up though. Thanks
