He points out how to use the weapons early on and you can see how he actually uses it to great effect. I see a lot of advice videos where the person shows gameplay where they don't follow their own advice. The magnum tip he gave us - he has mastered it - and it makes the tip so much more useful.

I have 2 questions - 1.- do you aim by looking thru the sights, or have you just learned were the bullets go? 2 .-do you use the steady aim setting, or the responsive aim?
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
I mainly use the steady aim/weapon smoothing option, and there is a floating crosshair that allows you to not use the sights if you don't want to. But the sight are more accurate because of the dot holosight :) Hope that makes sense
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
@Mikitric No worries at all. Far as I understand, weapon smoothing basically means that the game will make you hand movement smooth rather than jittery and shaky, but at the cost of responsiveness. So if you've got shakey coffee hands then this is a good option to go for :)
@HendyMg4 жыл бұрын
Dude... your way of explaining and going deep in the mechanism of the game and even thinking deep in the objective mechanism of "how do we learn and enhance our skills" in the end of the Video is just outstanding. In the Army they taught us to shoot in 3 to 5 round bursts, I have always like 3 rounds because round 4 and 5 are kicked up so high. 3 round bursts aimed at center chest will give you the greatest accuracy. I find aiming center mass like i was taught really helps with shotgun and machine guns.
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
Great advice Jim. I was in the Army too! Well Singapore army. Yeah I find the same in this game too, center mass is generally best all round, since 3 bullet onward drifts up to the head anyways

Being a big gun nut and having received military training in weapoms I can say that the gun play in this is a solid mix between reality and video game play, with having to lead shots and a semi realistic reload, while there’s a hip fire reticule and easier aiming. I love it.
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
Awesome Hawk I love it too! It's a nice arcade-y balance I feel; instead of being a milsim (which there are other games for) it's more like fun gunplay where your body is a game controller rather than full on simulation/physical immersion.
@nighthawk45024 жыл бұрын
@@ProperD that’s exactly how I feel. If I wanted real fun play I’d go to a shooting range, I want a fun game which is exactly what this is. It’s not so unrealistic for that I can’t help but pointing out things wrong with it, but it’s not so realistic that it gets boring since I can do similar stuff IRL, plus I don’t know any other game where I can get a win by throwing a grenade on an enemy who’s distracted by a team mate while I’m flying, I’m def rating this in my top 3 along with beat saber and walking dead, although I think it’d still be in that top 3 if I had a good PC and could play HL Alyx.
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
@@nighthawk4502 💯 And oooo ALyx was a good one for sure. But yeah replayability, no 2 games being the same, fps team-based game, just hella fun, Pop1 would still get my vote too.

Nee to gaming, be and of course this game. Therefore, this video is super helpful (and very well put together). However, I wish there was a practice game, the training is great but it is nowhere near the same as the actual game. The trouble is that by joking a game and practicing different skills and techniques you may be letting down others. I am discovering how serious some people take all this and I understand why. It is fantastic and if this is a main hobby or more for some people why would they appreciate a rookie on their team. Some people have been very supportive and usually those who are also fairly new to the scene. Anyway, a great video and thanks. Lastly, if you ever decide to put squads together to teach in game, I’d sign up immediately. Thanks 🙏🏻
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks ever so much DJayed and I 💯 agree! The current bot training is more like a glorified target practice range, which ain't a bad thing, just wish they had a version with decent AI to play a whole round out too. I do real life firearm training and run and gun training including predator hunting. I find this game great training for focus and posture. Iv played other shooting games like contractors and just didn't get that vibe. So far in my books pop1 has my vote.

I love how in warzone there 150 players and you get like no action but in this which has 18 players you get quite a bit of action
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
Haha I'd say true! but I haven't played warzone!

Great video! Also, when using the AWP if you push forward on the thumbstick for your dominant hand (non-movement thumbstick), you can zoom into 4x instead of 2x

Thanks Stephen!! That's a great tip, found that out after making this vid 😂

Thanks for sharing your tips on the Population One. I watched a lot of videos on Population One, by far yours is the best. If you are creating the part 3 of Population One tips, can you talk about how to use the backpack? Everyone seems to know how except me. 😂
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much AT99! And yes I plan to add a little about the backpack in the next vid 😁

Great advice! Will come in handy lol. But it was very cheesy when you did a whole edited kill motage in bot training mode LOL!

At 1:54 how do you get that like room with the different guns?
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
Oh that's the game menu room, the very first room with the READY button :) When you pick the gun skins it puts the weapon in your hand

I play on index as well and the controls seem a little wonky, I should really tweak those. Only played for a couple hours though. Much prefer Pavlov's reload/inventory systems but this game is great so far.
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
Love the game too! And yeah absolutely I have to tweak bindings to my liking in almost every game I play

Very thorough and concise tips! Gotta work on the fake accent, but aside from that the help is very welcomed. Thanks!
@ProperD4 жыл бұрын
Lol fake accent 😂 I don't have an accent, everywhere I go people think I have a different accent. It's basically a scramble of brit English Southeast Asia and Australian accents is my closest guess 😂

Got the quest 2 yesterday just started getting my VR legs can go 4 rounds now without motion sickness lol
@ProperD3 жыл бұрын
Yiissss nice one Rick and welcome to VR! Yeah the VR sickness can really suck, but really good that you're battling through it. In my experience, it can go away entirely eventually! 🤘
