The barrel jeans look cute on smaller women. I'm like you. I'm short and thicker than you. I ordered some. I think they just make your already thick thighs look thicker. I just recently got into jeans. I've ordered wide leg and loose. The loose looks more flattering on me. Don't get me wrong. I wear the wide legs, but they aren't super wide.

I just don't think barrel for thick, plus size or short women. It looks cute on skinny or smaller women. I tried it didn't work for me.
