Great tutorial. I just ordered one of these watches. I hope that the setup goes as smooth on my Motorola phone as it did on your Samsung phone. This new watch is an upgrade to my Watch Active 2 watch. I am glad to get back to an Android based watch.

SO I am about to order this watch but I need to know if this also comes with a web Dashboard and not just a cell phone dashboard, because I really hate looking at a small Cell phone screen I want to be able to check on things on my Pc screen instate ....I am actually going to sell my Fitbit watch because Fitbit (aka Google) decided to get rid of their Web Dashboard and so I no longer want that watch because of that.....could you please tell me because when I google for an answer I don't get any info on that.

the app won't pick up my watch Bluetooth but it says on the help I have to turn it on thru settings to connect but I can't get to the setting cause it won't go passed the beginning where you choose the language etc plz help

Thanks for the Great set up vid as always. I want to upgrade off my Fitbit charge 5. Does Galaxy watches work well on Apple phones? Or should I look towards an Apple Watch

The last 3 years of Galaxy watches (4,5,6) are only compatible with Android phones (won’t work with iPhones). I do usually recommend an Apple Watch for iPhone users. I would recommend waiting to upgrade just a bit longer though. Apple will definitely announce a new watch or two in early September. I’ll be buying the new watch(es) and will do my usual unboxing, setup, review, and comparison videos and I plan to do a “best Apple Watch” video this year as well. Also, I don’t have any inside information, but it is possible that fitbit could announce a new charge 6 before the end of August. That might not be the case if Google (who now owns fitbit) has decided to do something different with the release schedule this year, but I would definitely recommend waiting a few more weeks to see what new wearables are announced (then older versions should be discounted as well). Stay tuned… 😊

Question: once my watch is set up on Galaxy Wearable, do I also need to add it to the Wear OS app? I'm trying to add a watch face to my 6 Classic, but I get a device not compatible error when I choose the watch face in the Google Play store. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

You shouldn’t have to do anything with the wear OS app. Are you accessing the Google Play store on your phone? If so, can you try accessing it on your watch? That’s what worked for me for the watch face I’m using.

This is not how my watch looked when I turned it on. My watch asked me for language, and then asks for my country or region. United States doesn't show up. At all. What am I doing wrong?

I purchased it off of Amazon. It shipped to Michigan from Oregon. It was crazy. The Samsung helpline got it sorted. That wasn't easy. The rest of your tutorial was incredibly helpful for the rest of the setup once I got that part taken care of.

Imagine how disappointed I am. I’m trying to install my new watch too and am told to connect to my mobile. Yet I see no help for my Huawei or as you stated at the start “other” smartphones? There must be a high % of people with other makes of Mobil’s. Why do I have to buy a watch and get it home, before being informed that there really is no clear installation instructions for most other Mobil’s? So is this good marketing, like Apple, they cut out all other customers? Their was no mention of this online at the store either.
