Went to a mcr concert yesterday in bonn, germany and they played the opening. I have never heard of them before but man, are they good. Its a little sad that tr crowd wasnt warmed up yet to sing along. But the singer seemes to have so much fun and you could feel that in the audience. From the songs that were played, this one is my favorite so far. And i must say, they somehow sounded better live (not that this is a bad recording), which is a somewhat rate thing to happen. I can only repeat myself. They were amazing

If I had to guess it looks like they’re doing a variation of the movie The Man Who Fell To Earth. However, instead of the David Bowie esque character being a good guy this version seems to be more inspired by The Thin White Duke and this character is attempting to marry a girl so maybe it’s also a play on Hammer Film The Devil Rides Out? Hard to say really.
