Can't emphasise enough just how good Shura is live. Saw her set at Reading Festival this year and it blew me away. I was a fan before, but it took my appreciation of the music to another level. Go and see her if you get the chance.

I still don't understand why the soul-uplifting, trance-inducing effects of Indie music do not apply to all people. But then again, these underground tunes are more special because the few people who love them tend to be more deep and imaginative. Somehow, I feel really special to be a part of that crowd. They are, quite simply there are many gentle souls that are coming out of the "dark" so to speak. As to your comment, different strokes for different folks, there will never be a catch-all genre that can cater to every single person and that's okay, we can all enjoy the music still. ✌🏼😙

I don't think it's because they are unknown songs.. but because the pacing of the tune, and the lyrics and their placement resonate with your brain specifically. I bet you don't quite like hip-hop or rap. It's just not our type of music. Some might say this is too slow or soft. For example, I simply love 0:52 when she says "there you are" picks up the pace a bit and repeats it with a little more strength. It's subtle things that gives us the tingles I guess..

They havent made music like this since 89. Beautiful song...the voice the beat...I will get the CD when the album launches. There will be a lot of comparison to Maddona in her early years but then her early music is still rocking today unless you were born in the 90s.
