Great city to visit. Even the airport is a feast for the eyes and terminal 2 (If memory serves 🤔) is like a shopping centre in itself. Absolutely loved it but hated the flight time.

Went to Singapore four years ago, the only regret was that I couldn’t get a Singapore sling in the long bar at Raffles, as it was being renovated at the time.

Just means rules are stricter and people abide by societal codes. A friend of mine warned me before a Switzerland trip not to be shocked if we got pulled over and ticketed for going just a few miles over or under the speed limit. Didn't bother us. Countries with tighter regulations tend to be a whole lot nicer, in general, than those that don't have that

@@siiiiiuu7I chill in the park all the time where I live in America. If a cop approached you and cited you for this where I live it would be considered huge overreach by the police. These are considered basic freedoms where I’m from. Maybe it is just a cultural difference but it would be far too big of an adjustment for me to make it worth it. Strict places like what youre describing tend to also be much more boring and suffocating due to the lack of tolerance for different ideas, interests, and forms of expression. And for what it’s worth, my area is definitely just as “nice” as any of these strict areas.
