Yes, it’s Dempsey hill ! It is a nice place to Hangout and have some food to eat! It’s really a nice place in Singapore 🇸🇬

Dempsey Hill looks like a downtown plaza in Silicon Valley LOL and a meal will cost around the same price in an Asian fusion restaurant like that. Sadly we don't have cheaper options like hawker centers so we tend to cook and eat at home a lot.

The cafe you went to was at Loewen Gardens-Bellerbys House, which is located next to the Museum of Ice Cream. It's a good, low-key space, and they indeed serve a good cup of coffee, too!

I was there after CNY for the first time alone. Saw a big tent selling durian in the evening at the end of a road w carpark. Had dessert n curry chicken only 70$+ at Michelin award Nyonya restaurant😮

Those days every “boy” must reported here before they become a “man” , CMPB . For me Tanglin camp also sometimes need to visit. I’m from 1st Sign Bn , and there is a branch of 1st Sign Bn and branch of HQ Sign at Tanglin Camp , the old Mindef .

There are places like the Ice Cream Museum, Wine Connection and the Bbq place and other ice cream place. Been going there since the days of Au Petit Salut... now Atout.

From here, CMPB we stupidly got a box of makan, Chicken Wing, Cakes and Apple, etc. Then head to Paya Lebar Airport to board RSAF Charlie 130 to ROC Starglight in our early Army Days. 😂 Vividly remembered we grinded off "Made in China 103 lock" wordings on the drainage wall WxF. 🤣

You know a place is atas when there is no Public Bus going there and you need to go there via car or cab, or walk a long way from the nearest bus stop.. lol I used to work at the MFA, so it's nearby. And you see Ferraris and Lamborghinis so often parked there
