Ben is absolutely right about the board. Do you think Daniel Levy walks in to work each day think “what can I do today to bring trophies/success to Tottenham?” Or is he thinking “what can I do today to increase profits and increase the value of the club”. Answer is easy. 20+ years of failure is proof to support that claim.

Soo, I have 3 theories on how we can improve for the now. 1) buy more established players: Neto, Eze, Murillo, etc, 4-5 or more stablished starting level players. 2) adaptable tactics (Slot) -provide options depending on what the opponent is doing, BUT, it's for sure is gonna be less entertaining 3) wait, develop our youth if not, we have to be ok with this being a process when we can hit our stride in about 1-2 more years with good growth and development of our youngsters, but we'll peak perhaps in 2-3 years to 5-8 years ahead. We'll hit one strong cycle.

I don’t know how you can defend Levy here. Lange already stated that although Levy doesn’t chose the transfer target he is still involved in the financial “The chairman remains hands-on at negotiating deals but has no say in deciding the targets.”. Paul O Keefe leaked out that Ange wanted Neto, Gallagher and Eze but was declined because they asked too much on wage.

I’m becoming unsure about ange, I think we give him the full season. I agree with Ben the transfer policy is sign young players for moderate fees and hope they turn into world class players, I disagree with sim about the squad I don’t think it is that strong

Hi Boys. great shows as usual. Thinking about Ange he is all about philosophy, which he has said he will die for. The thing about philosophy is the same as can be said about religion and politics. Everyone has a different opinion. So Ange is changing the philosophy/mentality of the club as we are constantly told needs a lot of time. Ange has also said that we don't do defence, we don't have to consider how the other team plays, set pieces will take care of themselves and amongst other things all we have to do is score more goals than the opposition. So here we have this Guru who has this winning formula that the players have to adapt to and work it out between themselves during each match. No instructions from him, he is only an observer who can see how his philosophy progressing. The problem is that without any specific game plan for the occasion, you have 11 players who have heard the philosophy and are being coached to score more goals than the opposition with the high-line. However if the players don't 'mind-meld' they all have differing interpretations of what to do and when to do it. They are not being coached tactically because 'that's not who we are mate' so most of the time we use the KISS (keep it simple stupid) method, short passes etc. which usually comes unstuck because we haven't been coached to do what comes next. Occasionally a player will have a moment of brilliance, or a bit of hard work pays off, and that's about it. So without proper pre and in-game management we end up looking absolutely stupid. And I should add that we lose to a lot of lower ranked teams because they do the KISS method better, so Ange is being out managed just with the basics alone. He is not Premier League standard so doesn't understand what players he needs to raise Spurs to a proper P/L standard team. It is also evident that he is offended to easily, and so would not be approachable constructively by the players or anyone else. COYS.

So if these so called world class players can't even complete the kiss method between them, is that on the coach or the players? Talking porkies if you think Ange has no clue once they start passing the ball around, he clearly values the wide players and a hard working number 9. It's a high press system off the ball and build up from the back when in possession. It comes down to the desire of the players and they're letting Ange down. That exact same team beat villa a week ago, no excuses.

‘Maybe it’s mentality in the club’….this ain’t just the board. It’s your fans aswell. Last year you wished you would lose a game to city so Arsenal couldn’t win but at the same time also means you didn’t get CL to attract the better players and get more money. That is your mentality! Ange knew it, players knew it but your fans were embarrassing. Why would players want to join a club that wants to lose so no wonder they are so up and down. You literally can’t complain about recruitment or success when your fans think that way.

Many fans knew we aren’t CL team yet. We would be embarrassed in CL. Europa is what we deserved. City deserved that win, whether or not some fans wanted us to lose. We are in a middle of a rebuild but the foundation is good. Our only problem is consistency, which will come if Ange is given the chance.
