I was born in 2000 and i was taught how to play stand up i started playing ball hockey with pads from the 70s . Its different and fools most people today not viable at the nhl level but its a different style to play against

You think Vaughn pads are old school? Try some Cooper GP59s that absorb about 5 lbs of water each after a period or two, and have padding 'seams' between the rolls that can really sting your shin if a clapper finds them just right. Nothing like the smell of wet leather and deer hair.
