I'm 51, and switched from jeans and tights to my Calzedonia cotton comfort leggings 2 years ago when my hormones made it impossible for me to tolerate wearing ANYTHING with a waistband, even an elastic one. I wear them with boots and maxi dresses, or a jumper dress. They are a godsend. Thanks for the inspiration 😍

I have absolutely no desire to wear leggings. I don’t wear them. I wear jeans, I wear sweatpants, I wear trousers, I wear skirts, I wear shorts. No need for leggings. Don’t even know why people think they’re so comfortable. They feel restrictive to me. Tired of people people wearing leggings as pants everywhere I go. Some people look OK in them, but most people don’t I don’t need to see what’s going on below your waist.

I'm not really a leggins fan. I usually wear skinny jeans for a casual style and matching tracksuits for a sporty look. I found a wonderful small business here in Croatia, that makes tracksuits in different colours. I still look put together, but am super comfy at the same time 😊 For a dressier outfit I usually use thicker thights... P.S. I love the interaction on your channel ❤

I’m going to try every style suggestion except heels😝The cold teamed with desire for bottom variety during the winter inspired me to wear a pair of spanx onyx leggings, black long sleeve fitted cotton t-shirt, knee high red doc martens and trench coat on a rainy day. Using a long shirt, blazer, dress, and or a scarf to cover thighs or butt works indoors. Coats only look right outside. Gotta look good when the coat comes off, too!

Leggings are so dependent on the thickness of the fabric. I learned the hard way after washing my yoga pants one too many times and seeing myself in the gym mirror and realizing everyone else could also tell I was wearing leopard print panties. PTSD (Panty Trauma Stress Disorder) After that experience, I am convinced of the following: Don't force other people to see the crotch seam of your leggings. If you can't cover that seam with another layer, switch out the leggings with skinny jeans. Both are out of style, but the skinny jeans are more respectful of other people's comfort. Think of leggings like opaque tights without feet. Great under dresses, skirts, shorts for extra warmth or color and looks great with.boots. Even at the gym, I am seeing women wear jogging shorts over their leggings. Very few women over the age of 10 look good in leggings. The narrow ankles make everyone's butt look bigger and show off every dimple.

I used to wear Chanel leggings with longer top or high boots. But now I prefer wear leggings as accessory . Layered dresses over. And old Celine leggings have interesting details, like straps with zippers on the bottom. I also might wear with longer shirt and of course trench coat, which I just finally added to my wardrobe. I live in South Florida, so i was procrastinating of getting it , but finally pulled the trigger lol it’s from Old Celine. 😜❤️

If you don’t wear leggings for those obvious reasons, please don’t wear them because of someone online. Trust your self, YOU know better what looks good or not. I used to wear pu leather ones a few years back but always with a long button up or a dress. Now I love my straight and wide leg pants and jeans and I don’t like wearing them anymore.

Sorry for me leggings are not pants. They are exercise wear or heavy tights. Plus, very few people look good in them, way too revealing. Plus I’m much older and pretty conservative. But I do think you have , as always , great styling tips. Blessings.

You show some nice styling tips for leegings, but, however, I have never been wearing and will never wear leggings, not even at home! I really can't understand the reason why so many love wearing them. There are so many other comfortable options to wear, even jeans if they have enough part of stretch in it, which look so much better! All the time I have been at home with my (5) kids I have never been missing them! The only time I wear them is for sports 😉😊

Leggings are great for exercise / gym wear or lounging at home. Unless you are young (& with great legs of course), they can look cringy… case in point: all the examples you showed were of young, very tall women who can wear a trash bag and still look amazing. Sorry but a 50+ year old woman with a shirt tied around her waist just looks sloppy. So if someone doesn’t have a pair of actual pants & must defer to leggings, put on a coat (bc the long sweater + leggings just looks v dated to me).

Why not try:leggings made from a thicker fabric than usual (try Zara),and pair it with an oversized,well structured long blazer that's below your hip!!Worn with a shirt inside,or a blouse of your preference.....by doing so it won't look everyday /casual attire!!😊
