Braids with extensions or twists. I don't go to the beach anymore. I go on cruises. I travel with my Mom's best friend. Mom 😇 passed away 2017. Her friend has adopted me as her daughter. Love her to pieces. 🙋🏼‍♀️👸🏽 Hair looks lovely gurl 🙌🏽 Go gurl still looking good.🤩

Hair looks gorgeous as usual! I always wear my natural hair on vacation. I just used the same Miche gel on vacation and took my entire hair wash day products just in case it didn’t hold and it surprised me. Held for the entire trip but did flake at the end. Def would repurchase! ❤

Last few vacays I prefer my own hair. Mini twists, or some kinds twists. When i went to St Lucia, i just took gel and wore a puff after we hit da beach. Once a yr I do faux locs extensions and luv them! But I've discovered my hair just prefers to be left alone, no fake hair.

I've been wearing my hair natural on vaca. I was in Jamaica in May and rocked my curls. I'll be in Mexico next month and will be natural as well. I use Mousse Def for a 1 product wash n go. It's super simple.

I wear my natural hair for vacations. Like you I find braid heavy on my head and they make my scalp sore. I can braid and style my hair so I usually just style my hair everyday when on vacation. Do I go through a lot of product, yes, but braids are equally as expensive so I think it evens out. Here's a tip you might find useful: When my hair gets dry while wearing a wash n go I use Pattern's Moisture Milk. That product will rehydrate my hair and make my hair curl right back up. I have 4b hair so that stuff is really good.

I appreciate this video. I am mid-30s and grew up only wearing my natural hair. I tried braids and wigs recently, but don’t think they suit me. I don’t mind wearing my natural hair, but as soon as the humidity hits, it’s puffs up so badly and I end up looking a hot mess… very unkempt even. I would have a cute outfit, but end up looking a wreck otherwise. I will try this gel (maybe at home first), and hopefully it will work for vacation.

Natural always, because if I have to re-wash I can do it in 1 1/2 hours start to finish. If I have to dry it , add an additional hour. Day 3 or 4, I start to style it in different ways. My natural hair is pretty easy to deal with.

I prefer light weight braids in vacation and I like the regular box braids instead of knotless. They are easy to maintain my only complaint is drying time. Once I wore a wash and go to the beach it was so pretty and blew in the wind. However, when I got in the pool the curls got poofy and were no longer defined and my hair was extremely dry, so I would have to better prepare to remoisturize and touch up to do that again. I probably will save the natural hair for vacations that don’t involve water in the future unless I do mini twists.
