This gel is the GOAT!!! Using a leave-in, changes the integrity of the hold, won't last as long. I agree, the wetter the better. I actually apply it as you would a leave in, make sure and emulsify before application, has a good amount of slip. I go back through and apply more to each section, praying hands and shingling. Lasts at least 4-5 days on my 4C hair. BTW, I would compare the hold to Ecoslay but a loser consistency with more slip. Your hair looks Amazing J. and your wash n go turned out SO Beautiful. Thank you for mentioning the slip. The top of my hair is really hard to get product thru so I need good slip otherwise my styling session feels like a chore. Big Poppa gel from the Doux gives me amazing results but because its so thick and stuck on my top section I can't use it without feeling like Im damaging my hair.

❤️ your hair as always! ❤️ this gel with the Gl to foam mousse …. it helps it not to be so drying! However Ecoslay is the GOAT! I use Kinky Curly Custard applied in 4 section in shower just enough to give hair that smooth feeling then out of shower I add Ecoslay . I end up with shiny moisturized hair that last 7-10 days with stretching with 0 frizz! I only wish Miche had more moisture. Perhaps I will try with Kinky Curly!

Geez mine is silky curly in the kitchen tighter on the left than the right, loose from crown to forehead so my hair there hangs tightest about 2 inches above the tip of my ears 😯 essentially making the front 1/3 loose hanging with the majority of the rest tighter with hang appreciated with any stretching method …. and high porosity so re- shrinkage is always a part of my life! Still ❤ it but sometimes 😢 at the beauty of those blessed to have hair capable of standing up in the top!

It’s supposed to because that’s what healthy Afrocentric hair does. You have to damage it for it to stay stretched. Otherwise you would stretch it multiple times in between washes. Or just wear your shrinkage.

I think the front of your hair is actually shorter. It may grow at a slower rate than the back, which is common. Either way the curls are popping as always 😍😍
