It's funny pre pandemic before mask mandates and the stuff really made America change how they moved... I checked these out (not the exact model) and Hoka out at a Fit2run store. I liked them both but the price points then. Hoka had some awesome colors and seemed like it was the "Next" jogging shoe. Employees/runners at the store were wearing them then. But not casuals yet. Then once the pandemic hit I saw Welty and people start to pick up on hoka. Definitely the Subaru crowd. On cloud had me interested when they got Federer ages ago as Im a tennis nerd who loved his Nike/jordans!
