Thanks for doing these reviews so we can figure out if the concealer is one that fits our needs before we buy it!! I don’t like dewy/hydrating concealers because I have the tear troughs so anything wet or shinny makes them stand out even more. I have very dark circles but I like a more natural looking concealer… I’d rather still have some darkness then look like I have a bunch of makeup on so my goal is always to diminish & subdue the look of my circles without looking like I have base makeup on. I like to look polished & keep people guessing if I have foundation on and your concealer videos really help me determine if a product is one that is worth me trying or not. You always give us a great breakdown of the items! Thank you for saving me both time & money!!

I know more women that have this problem, i know that you should use like more creamy, thick and full coverage concealer and the small amount instead light/brighter ones

@@lmdny Have you tried different types of correctors? Some people’s skin can “eat” makeup. The make up just seems to disappear over a short time so maybe that is your case or is it blending away? How do you know the corrector is disappearing if you have concealer over it? Maybe try some different formulas of correctors like a thin liquid one LA Girl, Nars, a thicker more creamy one like Sigma or Becca/Smashbox, or one sort of in between like Benefit Boiing Brightening concealer(it’s a peachy orange corrector) or Laura Mercier Secret Corrector to see if a different formula helps. Another trick could be two very light layers of corrector. Do one side at a time, blend one then do the other side give it a second to sit & add a little more. You can also try a face primer that helps with longevity under your eyes or even an eyeshadow primer. Just make sure every product is a very light layer & that you hydrated your face/undereyes before & let it soak in. If you have too much moisturizer under the eyes when you first go in that could cause you to loose corrector or concealer too. @@MissEMc2 Thank you for taking the time to respond to me. Yes, that’s me… I have Becca, Charlotte T., Bobbi Brown, Nars, Pixi, and NYX correctors. I apply the corrector, then apply my foundation, and by the time I go to put the concealer on, the corrector has disappeared. Sometimes I will just apply the concealer or I may go back and put a little more corrector. I tried the tip from Wayne Goss using primer under the eye which Sarah also showed us on her channel but my under eyes get too dry and cakey. I’m going to try the two correctors you mentioned to see if they help. I also saw Smitha Deepak who said to try EXA’s new corrector. Thank you again for your tips!!!! I’m going to try them! So happy to have finally found a corrector that works for me! It’s the Bobbi Brown Stick Corrector! I’m in the lightest shade, but it is perfect for me and it makes it so I can use the Kosas concealer that I otherwise hate! Don’t know if you are in the market for another corrector or not, but I definitely like it! Btw SO excited for the Charlotte concealer review!!!

@@SusieQ1971 I don’t like the Kosas without a corrector simply because it doesn’t cover for me. My dark circles peak through and it looks like I tried covering it up with a shade of concealer that’s too light for me. With the corrector, it doesn’t do that. I am 27 and that might be why it works for me. I set every concealer with a slight bit of powder that is tinted other wise nothing stays on and that helps a bit with coverage too. The Kosas formula was never my problem, it was the lack of coverage.

@@SusieQ1971 I actually love Tarte Creaseless too. I feel like an oddball because EVERYTHING else is dry, even Charlotte Tilbury - the older Magic Away was terrible. I’m beginning to lose hope for any liquid concealer to work, besides Tarte Creaseless, which has no water so I describe it as a “liquid solid”. Even Bobbi Brown new stick corrector is dry, but the pot one isn’t - I have just been using that alone, but I think it’s being discontinued.

Sarah, I bought the shade pecan and tried without powder. It is hydrating but the coverage was not good and it did not last I bought the CT in shade 7 (peach undertones) and I wil be doing a day test tomo I love your vids I need to calm down on my concealer purchases tho, I have recently bought r.e.m, Huda, Too Faced, Charlotte T and NYX Cant Stop Wont stop but prefer the serum 1. It is 11.30pm here in London, so off to bed, you have yourself a lovely day. Also, when I purchased the Huda at Selfridges, I advised the counter staff to watch your channel Ps. Just been watching Love Island US version..we are a week behind. I hope u feel better soon x

@@xxserenityxxolv9863 well I am not happy to report tht CT did not live up to the hype in my opinion. I look foward to Sarah' s review however. CT is in the higher price range. I tried with and without corrector and also with and without powder. The coverage is not that great (my dark circles are similar to Sarahs), it sinks into lines a little, by the end of the day the circles were visible. I will not be repurchasing and would say Huda is stil my no.1 along with Maybelline my drugstore one. Maybe Sarah may suggest a method for better coverage/wear but it is 6/10, thumbs down for me. The higher score is for the skin benefit ingredients. I even tried for 3 days thiinking I am sure it should be better but no. 🙁 Ps. I am Sarah's colouring and bought shades 7 -peach undertones, (7.5 if you have yellow u/t) & shade 8 a neutral.

@@jass3523 ohhh🥺🥺 i could tell from other videos that it could be drying specially if you have dry under eyes, I am a similar tone to Sarah and I have dark circles too, still looking for a good concealer. Am currently testing a yellow corrector to see if it's better than a peachy color

I’m so opposite of everyone. Charlotte Tilbury is not glowy and feels dry. So sick of getting ones that are hydrating but not on me. I should have gotten this o. Funny they discontinued a radiant one before the huge one came out.
