I don’t feel like eyeshadow palettes are dead, but I do feel like I’ve bought all the colors lol. There are only so many rainbow/spicy neutral/brown/colorful palettes you can add to your collection before overlapping happens. I think for 2025, I will be aiming for palettes themed after stuff I love, and collabs from people I love

If you love colour, wear colour. You don't need to follow fashions. Set your own fashion. Some days I wear no makeup, some days I wear minimum nudey looks. And other days I like my full glam with bright colours 🥰. Do what makes you happy. ❤

I love eyeshadow palettes. Eyeshadow is my favorite makeup product. It makes me so sad that eyeshadow is on the decline as far as people wanting to use it. I think they still are wearing shadow, but they are more into singles or are minimalistic. Im still putting on a full beat when I feel like it. As all trends, eyeshadow will come back into trend. I bet that's why eyeshadow singles are going up in price and new releases of singles are so expensive!

I just didn't go for larger palettes this year. I'm much more interested in a 4 or 6 pan palette that gives me everything I need for a complete look. Now THAT is a rare find. ColourPop's 4 pans have been my absolute faves this year. I have probably every colorway available. They're such good quality and the BEST for travel.

When they first launched those I loved traveling with them! They are the perfect size and the color stories are great, but I did find that sometimes the shimmer would shatter on me. 😭 Has that happened to you?

2:56 I was asked to participate to a survey by Huda Beauty. It was quite long and detailed, and there were ZERO questions on eyeshadow. It looked to me like they were seeking to specialize in skin care, complexion and lip products. Did they say no more large eye palettes, or no more eye palettes at all? I would totally buy a patrick ta palette again if he makes a smaller palette for lighter skin tones. I loved his formula but i would only wear like 3 or 4 colors because most of the shades were too dark for my personal preference.

I ordered a few this year and the quality was really great! I think the issue is I don’t wear super colorful makeup as much as I used to and I ended up ordering really colorful palettes from them. 😭 I’m definitely always blown away by the quality though. 🙌
