Most of the Scottish players have went to private schools under scholarships there lies the problem with no rugby played in state schools in the majority of them anyway

@@jimcorlettFootball, football, football. The whole reason I got into Rugby was because I was such a hindrance on the football pitch at my school. Constantly booting the ball off the field, constant handball and my tackling was described as “vicious”. So, my PE teacher recommended I do S&C work during PE time instead and put me in touch with a local rugby club. But our state school system is geared entirely towards football. It’s amazing that we are so awful at it.
