That small piece of traction also ripped off my first time wearing them. Seems to be a very common issue! Otherwise the shoe is great and I’d even argue it’s more comfortable than my MB01s and grippier than my KD14s

The traction ripping isn’t a fluke, it happened to my pair too (different colorway) and I only played in them twice
@bugz5522 жыл бұрын
Can confirm happened to me aswell within 5 "light" hoop sessions so it is a complete desgin flaw puma needs to adress before someone gets badly injured because of it. If the outsole wasnt prone ti tearing it would probably be one of my favourite hoop shoes. Traction is probably the best I've ever played in and the cushion is top tier.

Great review, I just got this shoe today. Yes there is a lot of foam and cushion and you are riding high, however it still moves, cuts and accelerates very well. People liken the a) court pro to the Kobe 4 great heel cushion very low in the forefoot. This feels more like the Kobe 6 to me with both adequate cushion from heel to toe but still quick & agile. Absolutely worth the $120 retail.

Nice review! The traction pattern reminds me of the Kyrie 4. I found those to perform well on both indoor and outdoor courts, with no issues around the outsole besides natural wear-and-tear activity. I’m still rocking the MB 0.1 lows and feeling those indoors. Keep’em coming. The whole team is putting out great content!

Not my favorite Puma to play in but the comfort off the bat was good. It grips well, no hot spots with the uppers but I did have to go up half a size. It's surprisingly stable for a shoe that doesn't sit low to the ground and isn't wide. I thought the cushioning would be better from all the reviews but I found it ok. It absorbed impacts well enough but I found the energy return a little dead compared to what I'm used to. Still a great shoe for the price!

I have also damaged the traction and some decorative decals at second game, but only on the right foot, even so I have played already more than few games (indoor only) and these are awesome, traction even damaged is top notch, maybe even better than my previous shoes that was Kobe 1 Protro (but Protro traction is not damaged even after few years of playing in them) Bought them for about 75$ - for that price there is no better option

I got the wacky “lava” colorway just for casual wear and they are super comfy so far. Also they just released a Hornets colorway of the shoe last week presumably for Terry Rozier and a Chicago colorway presumably for Derrick Jones Jr. I personally am hoping for a Celtics colorway for Marcus Smart. I think this kind of subdued looking design would look great in white and green.

I bought the orange ones for my son since all the reviews seem to be saying how great the traction is. He's on ice skates on the court after maybe 5 sessions. The traction is that bad. I scrubbed the soles before one practice and they seemed to be fine on a very clean court, but next practice he was sliding around like he was playing clay court tennis. I'm talking like 2ft. Ridiculous. I'm not scrubbing the soles every time he plays. Maybe it's just the orange compound that sucks. Picked up the Jordan Luka 1's tonight which get much better ratings for traction. Fingers crossed.

I believe kuzma has been mostly associated with this shoe in the promo stuff. I know in the USA they have about 11 colourways of the shoe including the black fives version which uses more premium materials. Compared that to the UK 5/6 colourways.

Correction: it isn't full-length trinomic cushioning, it's only in the very middle of the heel and it's right on top.
@WearTesters2 жыл бұрын
That’s a Pebax heel puck. The trinomic is the recessed portions of the heel and forefoot for added cushion during compression. Making it full length.
