This is exactly what a collab should be. Why aren’t we talking more about this?? Isn’t this what we have wanted ?? What do I mean?? DETAILS! From the netting, to the tongues, outsole, insoles etc. these are the things that exemplifies a great collaboration. I love the details on these because you can tell it’s an AJ5, but at the same time a collaboration! She’s been killing the collab game imo. I have the white 12’s (under retail) and absolutely love them! I’m aiming for these

I have the white 12s (and black ones a 10/10 shoe btw) and have excessive bleeding aka color migration on them. It’s really easy to spot, too, unfortunately 🫤

AMM does need to sort out their QC. Seems like it took a dip for a while there. Their 3s , 1s and 2s didn't hear as much about in terms of QC issues or at least i didn't. But their AJ4s and both pairs of their 12s had quite a bit of QC complaints. Including my personal pairs , my 4s were really bad. Thats just inexcusable for premium collabs charging premium prices. I hope their 5s are much better with QC and stays that way for their future sneaker collaborations.

Nobody reviewing these has mentioned the extra lace loop , its like they don’t lift the lace lock cause they aren’t planning to wear. Appreciate the attention to details!!

Pro tip…If you look close…the inner fabric of the shoe is tightly printed/stitched, “A’s” too. 😉👍🏻

AMM never disappoints, can’t wait to get my pair. And I agree, this Dawn color way is my favorite from the two, but not to far off from the Dusk. I hope I get luck on those and will have to look for a burgundy color lace to go with it. Great review!

The Air Jordan 5 was actually my first and only pair of Jordans my parents bought for me as a kid, so the silhouette has a special place in my heart. Between the Dusk and Dawn, this is probably my favorite of the two as well, just because this color way is different from most of AAM's Jordan collabs, and I prefer a light upper. I did think the upper was white rather than grey from pictures, so I appreciate you clearing that up. Thanks for the review!

I love both pairs releasing, but I instantly fell in love with this dawn colorway. While I've always enjoyed the classiness of that trademark burgundy/mauve color language that AMM is known for, the hints of blue in this one really speak to me.

Imo this is shoe of the year, these look way better than the Jordan 5 Dusk. A Ma Maniere knocked this collab out the park, both shoes look GREAT, which is a first for me considering that I never cared for any of their collabs until now.

AMM has done well with most of their Nike / Jordan collabs. Though their AJ3s stand head and shoulders above the rest so far imo. AMM does well again here ; especially the details, tweaks and branding. I do like the more streamlined AJ5 silhouette AMM went with as a nice change from most of the GR AJ5s we get. Just something about both colorways i am still torn about. I do prefer this / the Dawn pair over the black (but i do like both tbh). Might be the degree of aging / yellowing effect as not a huge fan of the aged aesthetic. I like both colorways and think AMM did a good job but something just holding me back on both.

These are better from a sneakerhead perspective imo. The fact the they made the 23 & heel logo stand out on this pair makes these preferred for me over the Dusk pair. Dusk pair might be more limited so the resellers prefer those for profit. I’m not too big on AMas but I’m aiming for both. My Dawn pair shipped out yesterday. Dusks close to $800 range in my size…crazy, but that’ll drop on release

@@Paco1994k the Dawn is a snug fit but I usually lace all my AJ5s a bit loose. They’re snug but not unbearable. If I decide to double up I might go up half a size. Too much heat dropping these days.

I was really looking forward to these! But I assumed from the early photos that these had smooth leather, and obviously they are actually nubuck... which is nice but I'm worried they might get ruined quite quickly. Did anyone else order half a size down? How snug are they supposed to be? They're tight around where the stitching at the bottom of the tongue is and my pinky toe but I'm assuming you have to put in some time to break in the nubuck?
