There was an old sketch somewhere where it detailed how to lace the Jordan 6 where the lace lock would also loop thru the holes of the top of the Jordan 6 tongue. I swear it was on Niketalk back in the day but I never ever found it again. Does anyone remember this?! @weartesters

Man…. Wanted these HELLA bad back in 2000. Wasn’t able to grab a pair. I had the money. I couldn’t get them cause, they sold out within a few days. In SF especially. Uggh…. 🤷🏻‍♂️🙍🏻‍♂️. Obtaining the white/navy 6’s that dropped two months later cheered me up. Anyway, can’t wait to finally grab these. 😊 Fun fact: The 2012 retro is the og 2000 sample version. Recently learned it from @ IJapino. I’ve been into sneakers since 97. Guess I overlooked/missed that info in 2000.

Another great overall video review. Thank you to Chris and Jodi for all their efforts and time. As always, very much appreciated. One of the non-original Air Jordan VI 6 colorways that I like. I had the original 2000 model but, sold it way back. Hope to pick up one pair, maybe two if possible. But, still eagerly awaiting for a remastered White/Red-Black Air Jordan VI 6 with "Nike Air" on the back as what Michael Jordan wore with the Chicago Bulls in 1991 NBA regular season.

The Olympic 6 is clean but if I could only have one Olympic Jordan this year, I’d want the Wet Cement 4. I agree, Homelander is my favorite supe bc he is so unhinged. AND the office edits will never get old! 😂

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Butcher is my favorite, no spoilers here but I like how Butcher seems to be strictly black and white at the start but he definitely gets challenged throughout the story and I really like seeing that.

Wow, time sure does fly! I still remember watching the review for these back in 2012 when I was in high school. I had already started working so this was one of the first pairs I was able to get with my own earned money. To see them back just hits right in the feels! They look so clean with the original color blocking in the midsole as well as the laces! 🔥🥵

I remember this being my very first Air Jordans 😁👍 I don' t know as much back in the day; so, I played with them to the ground. But when I bought a pair of Gatorade 6s, I didn't even bother playing them anymore🤣

They ran the navy blue through the midsoles on previous release. Not sure if I like them running the white on the midsoles on these 2024’s. I like the wider laces better. Fun Fact about the VI, the design(white on uppers) are inspired by the #23. You can see it on the white on the uppers.

Great video as always! I especially like the new transition effect, very cool touch. These were so cool to me when I got into sneakers back in '06, but they're not a must have for me now. Glad they at least used solid materials and the proper colorblocking this time around. My favorite character from The Boys is probably Butcher. The wild card factor, charm, and quips don't get old for me. Strong cosign on the comic being a tough read lol, I'm on chapter 11 now and the slang takes some effort at times.

Classic look but I haven't bought a pair of Jordans in 3 years now. Doubt I'll buy one any time soon either. Favorite Boys character: easily Homelander. He's horrible but is basically an upstoppable villain. Perfect counterweight to the good side.

QOTD: Uh, I've never heard of The Boys. No spoilers, at least! These are pretty, and I respect that they stuck to the original details (oval laces, Jumpman "Air" branding on the heel) from 2000. I think not using flat laces in 2000 was a bad choice. I also vastly prefer the "Nike Air" branding in general, but the original logic (original colorway retros having "Nike Air" branding having it, retro+ colorways having the Jumpman "Air" branding) had purpose and consistency, so I can live with it in retrospect. I'm glad they stuck to the 2000 logic for these retros. Bravo! Thanks for the review! Here's a comment, there's a like up there.

Another awesome episode. Yesss I copped it!!! Didn't care if it's going to outlets like people say. Here in Singapore, even if there is a Nike sale. It's not much different in price. Hey Chris. What yeah was your favorite year for sneaker releases? For example, I like 2018. We got the Jordan 3 black cement, Jordan 11 concord, the Union black toe Jordan 1 and the air max Sean Wotherspoon’s. I know you’re quite fond of the early 2000’s. 2025 might be the year cause they have some unreal releases coming. Love the channel.

I know a constant gripe for you is toe shape, & I agree that if you retro something to keep it the same, but people with thicker toes (height wise) like myself will appreciate this toe box height on this release
