Nice guns. I have a Weatherby Element upland 26” 20g that I have been very happy with. The LOP is a little long on the elements but other than that it has been great. The Mossberg SA-20 is another great semi auto 20g for the money spent.

For the weatherby, it’s failing to feed because your outrunning the gun essentially, aka your pulling the trigger faster than what the gun is capable of, not a reliability issue, but in fact a very common thing with most inertia driven shotguns. That’s why most of the competition shotguns are gas driven.

Not commonly known but I discovered I can ghost load my weatherby element. Holds 3+1 with the plug in.

The Retay has more plastic. It's significantly lighter because of that, but it's a quality gun.

The Gordion is a couple hundred more than the element. There’s a 300 dollar difference when chambered in 12 gauge. I feel like the fit and finish reflects that

It’s inertia driven if you can hold good footing and put your shoulder in it it won’t cycle right…..

They are both inertia driven both shot the same way on on the same day with the same ammo.

i think i know what it is your boucing the gun off your shoulder its bouncing forward as you fire and your shoulder is not backing it up properly normal shooting you said it was perfect pull it tight in your shoulder for whatever reason it looked like the retay stayed very tight in your shoulder and it ran great to me the weatherby not firing speed shooting is no big deal for me hunting your never going to do that

You may not be speed shooting but it's always good to know what your guns capable of.

Definitely can tell some biased in this video 😂 most retay I’ve see don’t last more then 5 seasons youll figure it out when the retay starts jamming every hunt😂

Overall retay has nicer features but which gun can keep shooting reliably should be the main concern

We will see as far as bias its simply not true I love my Weatherby but they have room for improvement. Improvements that retay took the time to fix as long as it last.

Iv had 4 SBE and SBE 2s every single one had far more jamming problems than my Element. You can also ghost load the element and hold 3+1 with the plug in.
