We learned about fluvial processes, or those dealing with water, so now let's learn about aeolian processes, or those dealing with wind. How does wind weather rocks? Quite similarly to water, but with less force. Let's check out some ventifacts and sand dunes!

For the past year I have been watching your Geology videos and gaining a vast amount of knowledge. I can’t wait to take my first Geology class in Spring and your videos have been a tremendous aid in helping me to prepare for the tough journey to come. I just wanted to say, thank you!

Hey professor dave, have you read the book "geoengineered transhumanism"? I'd like to dismiss everything as just made up conspiracies but honestly some of the fatcs presented are making me scared

A discussion on wind in the desert is just a bunch of hot air! ;-) Thanks for the great info, as always, Professor Dave.

Trans dunes are dunes that formed in such a way that doesn't reflect what they are on the inside.
