Well 1/2 way thru on my first weave and your vids were so helpful!! The pointers on setting up the wonder weaver was so nice and yes I still f***** up !!! I put the wheels to far apart and I went cheap and bought the #2 instead of the 3 wheeled one. We need more vids from you how about setting up multiple layers.

Thank you for the kind words. I haven't been weaving lately, I'm in the process of moving. I do multiple layers the same way. I do one color per layer and center off the middle thread on each layer. It works well to do it that way. Centering is very important or your threads can get torqued a bit and cause lumps in the pattern. When I get back to weaving I will consider adding a multi layer video.

The Doc Ski Jig (no longer being manufactured) works much the same and you tape method can still be utilized with it but there will be some differences. It maintains the thread at a lower profile to the rod and mounting can be quite different. One thing you will find when you do more weaves with multiple layers is maintaining the layers directly above each other. The more layers the more possibility of thread stacking on the attachment side. Moving out of alignment. Good tutorial, hope in the future you show starting the weave and how you avoid crossing when you start your main thread especially with more layers. I will mention part of the problem with attaching Madiera Thread to the double stick tape is the fact that because it is a machine thread it has a slight amount of lubricant in it thus does not stick as well. Cant wait to see how you make your patterns. I too use P2W but do it all Manually when picking the squares and colors because some things just to work when I have tried the auto function. Keep up the good work.
