The double layered rng with affixes/ weaver's number will be so messed up if they dont rise drop rate, just like you said

The way to get the affixes on these items means that I am forced to use them before they even become better over other items for my build. Maybe the implicits are semi good, but I need a certain x or y affix / suffix to make it teally fun for my build. I then have to use the item and hope for it to level up into smth that improves my build. What if it doesn't? Then I just spent time feeling like crap with nothing to show for. Currently with the LP system, I have the option to use other exalteds until I craft a Legendary that makes my build improve significantly.

I think 5 WW is a very very low number. The range is absurd. Getting a unique with 5 WW means you'll get 4 extra affixes, with 1 of them getting to T2 while the other 3 are T1. I don't see how these are useful other than as a fun item to lvl up. I think a more interesting way to apply this mechanic into the uniques, would be in a progressive manner 1 affix at a time; 5 WW = roll 1 affix at T1, then it would upgrade that affix until it's T5 (prefix) 6 - 10 WW = roll a 2nd affix at T1, then it would upgrade that affix until it's T5 (suffix) 11 - 15 WW = roll a 3rd affix at T1, then it would upgrade that affix until it's T5 (prefix) 16 - 20 WW = roll a 4th affix at T1, then it would upgrade that affix until it's T5 (suffix) 21 = 28 WW = a chance to upgrade a random affix to T6 then T7. It can fail, using up 1 charge of WW anyway. T7 will have a lower chance to succeed than a T6. But to get a T7, the affix needs to be T6 first. So if a unique would drop with 13 WW, it would have 1 prefix at T5, 1 prefix at T3 and 1 suffix at T5. I think this way, if an item dropped with low WW, it still had the potential to be somewhat useful other than a power lvl item.

i agree, 5 WW might as well be thrown into the trash, nobody is ever going to bother with that. the minimum should probably start off from all t5 (20 WW).

only over 300 hours in and don´t find it fun to play anymore because I´m getting tired of playing for days and never getting something I actually need. Really hope they improve the drop rates or come up with a better system for target farming.

i completely agree with your sentiment on RNG. LP rng is just pathetic, idk how else to say it. 4 LP on actually good uniques might as well be removed from the game, some of these have never even been dropped by anyone. there's no point in a "chase" item if you can't actually chase it. im concerced with WW in that it requires you do play with it equipped to even know if it's trash or not. you can get a 28 WW but if you roll bad affixes it might be even worse than a 5 WW with good affixes. it would suck really hard to have absolutely no control on affixes and be forced to farm with this shitty piece of gear equipped 24/7 just to level it up and see which affixes you get. would be more acceptable if they give us new item slots (similar to idols) where we can just drop WW items in without benefitting from them just to level them up), similar to leveling up gems in PoE from the alt gear slots.

I really love the LP system but it is pretty freaking lame the odds of getting 3-4 LP items and 1 LP is super boring 95% of the time and 2 LP is also fairly boring but I guess at least this is fairly common for the bulk of uniques in the game. Wish it either had better drop rates or a time consuming way add LP to items over time. Agree I hope this new system is weighted to fun and not never going to happen so it is boring.

At start of video, so no idea if you say this but... Every time they were asked about dungeons or mechanics to increase Legendary Potential, they said no. I almost guarantee you there'll be a dungeon to increase Weavers Will. Maybe not guaranteed to T28, but increase it.
