I'll just get the Buckleguy one thats half the cost, fits stuff better, and is much easier to switch out dyes. Its also not as bad on your arm as the LW.

just wondering these tools only work with this little guy? for example loop staple setter cannot be used on other presses?

The setters have a 5/16" diameter shaft, so as long as that fits in your press they should work.

Is a KAM snap press the same thing? I actually have one getting dusty in my parents' basement so that would save me some $$ if all I need to do is buy a different attachment.

I wish I could get this in Germany, but I fear that the taxes I have to pay is higher than the price for the machine itself.

Love how all the comments are comments are hobbyist complaining about the cost of a professional tool.

the thing is that it is NOT a professional tool. it is a tool directly meant and marketed to hobbyist makers. Professional tools that do the things that this does are much much bigger and seriously more expensive. this little tool is nowhere even close to being a professional tool and is not even meant to be considered as such.

It has a few neat features but I can (and have) purchased a few cheaper models so I don't have to switch out dies, much more efficient for my use and worked out cheaper. If I had a public facing workshop I would consider purchasing the master tool series just for their look, as it is I have saved a bit of money that can go towards more leather.

These things are great but you need 3 or you spend all day changing dies for every use.

Too expensive for my Hobby work bench! If you want to sell more, lower the price. 😉👍
