Hi there, keep tension on the yarn as you warp, so that you get even results. It may be a little loose, which is okay since you'll be working through it, but not loose enough so that the yarn will pop off the peg. And yes, you can pull the yarn from both ends of the ball. Hope that helps!

Hi there, the Martha Stewart Crafts Extra Soft Wool Blend we use in this video has 165 yards (150 meters) per ball. Not all of it is used up warping this loom set-up, and how much you need for your loom will depend on how you set it up. If you visit marthastewart [dot] lionbrand [dot] com, you can check out patterns designed specifically for the loom, which will state how much yarn (and which yarn) was used for each project. My yarns are too loose too. Can I pull the yarn from each end for a double strand?
