Well done video, and a very interesting conversion for the Cricket. I am curious about one thing, though. I was taught that in a weaving draft, everything moves AWAY from the tie up box in the corner. The threading in this case is read going from right to left, (which is correctly shown by the arrow) but the treadling (or in this case, a lift plan for the levers) should be read from the top going down. So, in the twill for instance, the first pic for your twill would be lifting 1 and 4, and the last one in the sequence would be lifting 1 and 2, not the other way around. Not too important for this pattern, but it would be weird if you were trying to do something more complicated with borders etc..

That's a great observation! Reading the treadling in the pattern draft from top to bottom or bottom to top depends on the weaver and the project! It can work both ways. ☺ In this case, the weaver designed the draft using weaving software and preferred reading the treadling draft from bottom to top. It all depends on your preference!

Thank you for the videos regarding the quartet. I’m absolutely loving mine! BUT… the levers squeak! 😂 What can I do to rectify it? The squeak is driving me bonkers! 😂
