Loving the scolding of the KQs call of the turn jam, a proper telling off. Spidey senses told the hero it was a bluff, unfortunately we didn't hold a bluff catcher lol. Nice hand analysis.

Really interesting point at 42:40 about solver donking rivered flushes and how it picks bluffs. There are 3bp spots I’ve studied where OOP will donk all in with range because 70% of its hands are a straight or better by river and so it “bluffs” any one pair hand to compensate. I say this because it made me wait longer before tagging players since unfamiliar plays do not mean villain is a fish and Chris seems to have a sea of fish tags, including one okay reg tagged as a whale. He is also tagging players as aggro or passive based on

At 15:04 Weazel says that the Bluff The Spot ranges say we have a call range on the button. But in the BTS Preflop Bible 3.0 they recommend 3-bet or fold on the Button and in SB. Is Weazel out of date or something?

Love the video - don't love the tags we assign. If V isn't at 100BB, tagging them as rec isn't nearly as interesting as tagging them for their tendencies... calling station vs whale etc. I don't play 50NL but strange to see 19/17 players getting tagged as whale for one play/bluff. When I tag people as whales, it's because they are stacking off with almost anything and I basically want to be in almost any pot with them.

Great video! I've seen you a bit in the 25z pool. I'm shocked you have so many people tagged as fish (green). Even people with seemingly reggish vpip/pfr. Do you tag people as fish alot or is it that soft there?

with the AQ off 4 bet oop preflop what do you do if he 5 bets or jams ?
@Weazel19913 жыл бұрын
Position dependant, fold. I would get it in against certain opponents BvB, but generally we 4bet BLUFF AQo, meaning we fold to a shove

@Ollie it’s not about the bankroll. If you say I did play 15k hands that’s laughable start play 100k hands see how you are doing why rush it all this people will only lose money if you don’t beat NL10 you will never win at NL50
@nicolozaniolobedankt3 жыл бұрын
@Ollie i did play 1 million hands at the micros in the last 4 months playing for the leaderboards on gg poker. After so many hands you can see how much variance there is in poker did have days I start thinking I was the best poker player in the world few days later lost every hand I was playing 😂 I think it’s good if you play 100k hands at NL10 before you move up but if you just wanne play NL50 after 15k not winning at NL10 goodluck you will and up basto like 90% of the players will end up anyway

To me it seems impossible to move up from 10NL the rake is just a killer and you need to dodge the variance too. So many dont seem to realise just how much variance there is, people talk about 20BI downswings as if its a lot when in reality its really not. There will come a time when you will face variance that you never knew was possible. The better players say you should play 10NL just to learn the intricacies of the game but without being able to deposit more and more moving up seems impossible. Fair play to Chris if he has built up from $100 to $2100, but I dont know how it is achieved from such low stakes.

20 BI downswing is huge, if you have a decent winrate. The times I had such a downswing, I partly had myself to blame. Yes it can happen because of pure bad luck, but it is rare.
