Web Displays Mod • 1.19.2 (Minecraft Tutorial + Showcase)

Late but fresh video about the UNKNOWED port of the classic Web Displays mod for the 1.19.2 version of Minceraft. A review with fun editing and some observations!
You may find both mod and the library for it to work on the Curse Forge page:

NOTE: turns out the 1.12.2 Web Displays on Curse Forge must be updated to fix this white screen issue, so it doesn't work unfortunatelly... 😭
But fear not! I found the older version of the mod (and library) which still works with the 1.12.2 version. But since it's complicated to download it on their site, I will let a drive link with the Zip file for easy access!

Hello, when I download and install this mod and MCEF, it asks me for another mod and I cannot download this mod, but I can install the 1.12.2 version, but when I install the screen, it gives a white screen problem. I believe the white screen problem is common in the 1.12.2 version, you may find some solutions for it on KZbin. But don't worry! I'll provide the configuration I've used for it to work very soon!

Hey, I’m GiantLuigi4 on CF 4:37 - the redstone control blocks are currently unimplemented, since I need to overhaul some other systems before I can consider them In order for them to work properly, the displays have to be running the browser on the server, which the codebase currently doesn’t support Also, 6:47, that might be something I look into… did not know there were problems with that

Hello there! Didn't expect the actual mod developer to show up in one of my videos!! Appreciate your work to keep this mod updated and functional to newer versions of Minecraft ^^ About the redstone upgrade, it's indeed not clarified about how to use it since the original version lol! With your affirmation this topic is checked for now! And about the shaders I may tell you that the newest versions of Oculus / Rubidium are now able to display the Minepad properly when not using any, and with both installed. Although it still don't show when toggled, but no crashes at least :) (also, I noticed that when using a mod called Immediately Fast, which improves render performance in-game, the Minepad simply won't show the screen anyways. It's because of the HUD rendering changes the mod does I believe, which it kinda becomes true since the screen doesn't render when in third person for an example... There was a option on ImmediatelyFast.toml to disable HUD improvements, but turns out Oculus ignores those changes and makes the screen black again, unlike OCD shaders. Just really wanted to tell you those topics I took notes off! Sorry about the long text, but couldn't miss the chance of letting the creator himself know about those! Thank you for your attention!!! ^^

Yo bro can i ask why the minePad item only displays a full screen from righr clicking? It doesnt display anything just by holding it (like im not holding it like a tablet like u did in ur video)

@@valnovilla4296 if you're not simply holding it on your hand, then you can do the following: - Right-Click with the Minepad on hand to access it as when on an actual web browser (of course, with the Minepad HUD 😅), like you mentioned! - Sneak while holding it to get a bigger view of the current Minepad's web page! Hello there! Perhaps you installed the wrong forge version for the mod? Did you install all the mod dependencies (such as Cloth Config and MCFE)? Maybe wrong mod version? Check those and see if the problem persists ^^

i moved from curseforge to modrinth, but the problem is when i try to load minecraft with the mod (and the correct mcef) it crashes, since i have “not enough crashes” it shows ne the possible cause of minecraft crashing (it crashes immediately when minecraft loads after the progress bar) is tested the mods and its mcef doing this, so please help me on this (im also using 1.20.1)

I believe crashs related to MCFE are kind of common... Try changing the forge loader version for a more recent one, or reinstall the mods and see if it works ^^

@@E-Tlib nvm i got webdisplays to work but the reason why the minepad can’t display the screen when using shaders is because i don’t know either but it has to do with gui(basically flat images to display stuff), webdisplay uses gui for displaying the screen, and people know how to put gui into items when you hold them (only the item in hand not in the inventory but they can probably do it but its probably just a waste of time) and the minepad is a item that displays the gui, but for some reason when you put shaders on held item gui’s can’t display and just become invisible, i know this because using a modded explosion on a webdisplay block turned on the block disappears but the gui doesn’t, but the gui is for displaying and the block is for interacting so if you remove the blocks you would have a interactless screen (exept for already linked peripherals) if you want more stuff from me reply to me that you want me to tell more

By my knowledge it's due to memory allocated! Try using some more memory on the game (considering it's a multiplayer occasion) and see if the problem persists. Otherwise it's the internet connection of both players, along with the consecutive screen syncing fail ^^

Which Minecraft version are you using? Also if you're using any mod that changes how HUD's render is showed, try removing it (I know because it happened to me as well ;) with Immediately Fast). If you're not using, just reinstall both Mod and Library along with their config files, and use the recommended forge version for 1.19.2!

Hey there! First, did you used the links in the video's description for each mod? And also you need the correct Forge Version, which is 43.2.0! If you did those and it's still crashing, try removing any other mods you may have alongside OCD shaders, that might be corrupting it. Alternatively, I believe the latest version of Oculus now supports Web Displays, go for it to see if it works! ^^

Welp, unluckily for you internet is required for KZbin to work! (as well as any URL in the mod) It doesn't have a secret way to make it load online videos without internet connection lol ^^

When I try to watch a movie with my friend using this mode from minecraft, we cannot synchronise the screens to show the same thing in both of us, when I want to open video work from youtube, different videos open or I opened the video and the youtube page still appears on him, but the video starts playing on me. note: We are playing on the server and the mods are also installed on the server.

I actually addressed this one issue sometime ago and forgot to mention it here 😅 too much stuff going on So, it's caused by network problems of the host of the server. The only way to solve it is to break then screen and the rebuild it putting the URL in question again, without using Google and etc. That's the only way I fixed it unfortunately 😞

In survival, none of the blocks seem to actually drop when you break them. I accidentally misplaced one of my screens and tried to break it with my pickaxe but it didn't drop anything. Had to go to Creative just to give myself the block I lost. Is there a fix for this?

I have mentioned that 1.18.2 is unstable at the moment... 😔 But if you're still crashing without Optfine, it can be: - The Forge version for 1.18.2, which it's better use the recommended stable version; - Some conflict among the config folders of both Web Displays mod and MCFE library. Try deleting them along with the mods (in the folder .minecraft/config, and reinstall both again! If that didn't work, you'll have to change to the 1.19.2 version 😭, but I'm sure following those two advices will solve something! Let me know if it worked!

Normally it won't happen because of net connection issues. But try putting the video's URL directly on the screen and everyone will watch synced ^^

By default, you can build a standard wide-screen that has a 4 by 6 scale (that means: 4 blocks of height and 6 blocks of length) Alternatively, you may build the screen at any scale and, using the 'screen configurator' showed in the video, you must type the follow resolution order: 1900 x 800 Then the screen will fit at any size ^^ hope it helps!!!

The only way to turn off a web screen is to break the bottom left corner block of the screen! Then place it again so you can turn it on later ^^

Which version are you playing on? This exit code usually means a rendering crash occured. Perhaps you're using Optifine? And I believe the mod should work fine with Curse forge (Overwolf) app...

Another person commented the same issue. It appears it's something related to the config folder of each player, both must have the same values and configuration of each file (MCFE and Web Displays) in the config folder

@@egormitev that's the issue then... 1.12.2 is discontinued as the new config feature is only available for 1.19.2 and beyond now. This earlier version will still have bugs as such 😔

About your previous complaint, have you tried deleting all the downloaded Web Displays files from your Minecraft folder (Config files and Mods)? Just a fresh download should do the trick ^^
