Yea I don’t believe that their divorce is 100% about not wanting kids. I feel that Jeannie truly wants to be with a black man, but in a lot of Asian families they disown you for that. They feel if you date outside your race marry a white person. She felt that she can make it work with a white man and her family would be happy for her but if she marries a black man they would be against it and Jeannie is all about pleasing her family. So deep down I feel that she wants to be with a black man. Just like Trina Braxton prefers white men and her family always trying to get her to date a black guy. Jeannie is ready to follow her heart and date a black dude and she’s not worried about pleasing her family anymore. When Jeannie finally settles down with someone I believe it will be a black man, and I believe she will have kids eventually too.

Jeannie...I had similar experiences with being unsure about kids...I’m also divorced and in my early 30’s. I think one of MANY factors is also about being with the right person to have children with. I think Jeannie WILL have kids one day, when she's with the right one and ready. Freddie was NOT the right one for her. You grow a family with the person you cannot imagine life without. Freddie was quick to move on so obviously Jeannie was not the person who could not imagine living life without. Jeannie didn't want to have kids just to please someone else and if she HAD had kids with Freddie, eventually he would have left her a single mom and that's not fair to Jeannie. Just because you can have kids doesnt mean you have to or should. Having kids is a huge responsibility and not everyone is fit to be a parent e.g. my aunt is the worst parent. Meanwhile, theres people who dont want children like Jeannie who I think would make an amazing parent. We should respect their decision and stop asking them if they are sure they dont want kids.
