That is the witching hour 330 when it was all over! I hope you all do coverage on the peaceful protest on the miscarriage of justice that is going on with a person unconvicted being held in prison wearing a 50k volt shock vest controller held by 2 Odinist guards who admitted to it. Becky herself is the one that reported it to the detectives. EF admits to spitting on Abby seeing her on the bridge fails a polygraph test his sister who he told it to pass is the polygraph but yet it's a 5'4 85 lb dude by himself in broad daylight who parked far away had to bring all that stuff in there there is physically not enough time to do that. A comment to clarify some things that seem confusing. 1. The area near the bridge is not a "wilderness" area. There are roads very close by. 2. The bridge itself was NOT a part of the trail system. The trail terminates on the north end of the bridge. 3. The bridge does not cross only Deer Creek, it crosses the Deer Creek valley. The Bridge is about 900 feet (three football fields) long and about 70 feet high at the highest point. In addition, it had been closed to train traffic for many years. 4. The FBI was involved and served in a leadership role on the investigation from the very beginning. The resources brought to bear on the case by the FBI were incredible.
@VTPSTTU3 жыл бұрын
In one of the news videos about the case, I seem to remember someone from the chamber or commerce or similar organization saying that prior to the murders, she sent trail maps to out of town visitors interested in the trails and the bridge at least a few times a week. She said that after the murders, those requests stopped because of the publicity of the case. Maybe I'm remembering something incorrectly, but my sense is that there was some tourist interest in the trails. I am aware that "rails to trails" has been a popular hiking style for decades. Many of these trails exist throughout the country. They are popular with many hikers because they often go through areas that are scenic but have more of a day-to-day beauty than the big canyons and mountains would have. Because railroads really can't run up or down extremely steep grades, these trails are more ideal for people whose physical abilities don't allow them to ascend or descend steep grades. Maybe these people don't have the pulmonary health to go uphill steeply. Maybe their knees can't endure a steep downhill. For these hikers a "rails to trails" hike is ideal. I say all of that because I'm skeptical of the claim that no one outside the local community would be familiar with this trail. I realize that the entire trail system doesn't appear to offer miles and miles of trails that would draw someone who wanted a challenge like through-hiking a major trail. However, people who become interested in doing rails to trails hiking might have a particular interest in walking this trail. Sometimes, hikers can be a bit like bird watchers in that they want to "collect" a large number of different trails that they've walked. To someone who isn't interested in bird watching, making a special trip to Alaska or northern Canada to see a gray-crowned rosy finch might make no sense at all. To an enthusiastic bird watcher, making that trip could be very exciting. Are you and others involved in the investigation certain that this bridge and these trails aren't fairly well known among the "rails to trails" hiking community? Are you certain that this trail wasn't showing up in online groups where people talked about walking these trails almost as collectors trying to experience the largest number of these trails? If this trail system was discussed in these groups, someone looking for victims might have been aware of the trails system. The qualities that make these trails popular with people who struggle to do more strenuous trails could make these trails more popular with teenagers who just want a fun walk. Maybe the killer was lurking in these discussion groups to learn of these trails and go there looking for victims. I'm not suggesting that someone came from thousands of miles to commit the crime, but maybe someone came from hundreds of miles. Someone visiting Purdue University may have been aware of the "rails to trails" information and made the relatively short drive from Purdue.
@robertives44103 жыл бұрын
@@VTPSTTU Your points are all good. I guess I would only say that these trails are not extremely heavily used and the tourist attractions in the Delphi area are not very famous in the national sense. How does a lead like that just get misplaced?! The Golden State Killer was suddenly a poor, frail old man after he was arrested when prior to his arrest, he was out living his life, very active and had no problem doing yard work and riding a motorcycle. I see similarities in the way RA has suddenly become ill. He didn’t seem to be having these problems before. He’s facing a death sentence so he may see it as his way of avoiding that. I hear there’s some conspiracy theories about the case like he’s being framed or something but I doubt it. Probably just a lot of incompetence and inexperience working such a major case. I think maybe Abby was meeting a guy there & Libby came with her. I'm thinking Libby took the video because they were meeting a guy. I think that's why the video was filmed when the guy was far away. The girls were waiting for someone there. The girls could have been left. I think Libby started filming because they expected a younger guy to show up & an older man showed up. This was a setup. No teenage girls are on a trail like that for nothing. Someone doesn't want this case to be solved. Everything should be on the girls cell phone on why they were out there.

CSX was the property owner of the MHB and the bridge which was private property, should of been properly secured. That would include having no- trespassing signs posted. Imo, CSX was negligent and could be held liable. The area/trails CAN be a danger... especially for minors. We know this is a popular spot for meth/drug users. Also, how many sex offenders/predators live within the geographic area? No, I would not let two teenagers ages 14, and 13, go unsupervised on the trails... if one believes the narrative being presented in this case. Blue Angel

My comment is: last summer there was a local tv station who ran a story on theft at a dental office. There was a great portion caught on video outside the business and inside. I knew instantly who it was. I reported the information. #1 the detective told me the person I reported did not have glasses on. Yes he did you could see the glint of light off the glasses. #2 I mentioned the gun. The detective told me there was no gun in the video. Oh yes there was. It is seen as he prepared to enter the business. #3 the detective told me the person in the video was not an older person. The person I KNOW it is, lives on 40 acres of hilly land and literally runs u and down the hills all day long and has for years working on the property. The reason I am mentioning this is because in my opinion there can be reasons due diligence is not done. 🤷

Where I live in West Virginia we have the same terrain and weather as Delphi. It was 48°, 8 mph winds that day. Kelsi made Abby take her sweatshirt jacket because she hadn't brought a jacket. I have always wondered what they would have done out there so long. Maybe they had heard that kids were going to be out there and thought they'd take their chance to see if they might meet someone. But I've not heard any other kids saying they saw them. When I was their age I would occasionally go into the woods to sneak a cigarette. Just for a thrill. 'Bridge etiquette' would have made them stay at the end of the bridge until BG turned around and began going the other way. I am sure that they were not prepared for him to continue coming to the end of the bridge. I wish police would give us a better timeline compared to videos and photos of the girls that they took along the way. Then maybe we could tell if they were at the end of the bridge possibly waiting on someone or just waiting on BG to turn around and go back the other way before they started back.

@abacus2994 жыл бұрын
@@karenandrews8695 We share our genes with 99.9% of other humans on the planet. It is the way the code repeats itself that varies. Each variation (allele) is shared with a much smaller percentage of the population. 13 alleles is standard for most labs/legal systems. In a mixed contributor sample, say victim and perpetrator that's potentially 26 alleles; two victims and perpetrator it's 39 alleles. The analyst must determine which alleles belong to which contributor. Small samples or degraded samples can result in alleles dropping off from locations or seeming to appear where they do not. The analysis becomes - albeit useful - an interpretation. Low copy number DNA can eliminate but not identify a suspect. Small samples also present logistical problems. Tests must be repeated to confirm accuracy of results, potential defendant's will also want to conduct tests. If testing would consume all the material it may be delayed until other techniques make it feasible or other evidence leads to a charged suspect. Inconclusive results occur far more often than commonly thought.
