Does your isp give you free static ip or do you have to pay monthy for it? Or how does the static ip works? thks.

Typically, you would have to sign up for a business account to receive a static IP from your ISP. This is going to be more expensive than your standard subscription, and may have other requirements. I would recommend using a dynamic DNS service that checks for your Public IP and updates it when it changes dynamically. NoIp.com is who I have used in the past.

Yes, however you would need to find the port that your IP camera uses. It may also use Port 80 if it creates it's own webpage.

@@computernetworking7997 correct, because if it doesn't require port 80/8080 to be opened, the visible recorded camera feed is based on the domain/application of the company who host this service (in that case, as you've stated, only the port of the IP camera is required to be opened).
