I love the idea of no-shows paying for those who attend. You are totally right, what a great community experiment!

Thanks for your great video! As a CM, what are some problems/challenges you face on a daily basis? And what are the top 3 tasks that take up most of your time?
@CommunityCoachCarmen Жыл бұрын
Thanks Mary. The biggest problem I'm currently focused on is scaling up community efforts (so cloning myself as a CM to provide better support to the global community across all regions). I've been busy implementing a global ambassador program which is really helping to scale my efforts. The tasks that take up most of my (and many other CM time) is focused around people: this role requires a LOT of daily interaction with people - whether that be members in the community, internally within the company or other key stakeholders (such as key partners).

Sure thing Ngozi! You can check out Feverbee's CM courses (I particularly enjoyed the Psychology one): ondemand.feverbee.com/ and you can also check out Community Club if you prefer cohort based learning www.community.club/c-school

Is it hard to be a community manager
@CommunityCoachCarmen2 жыл бұрын
Great question! If you truly care about the people you're building a community for, then you won't even feel like it's a job (that's why I always recommend to find communities that you are passionate about). There's definitely a lot of hard work behind the scenes to manage a community well, so it's really important that you care otherwise you'll burn out real quick. Hope that helps :)
