Picked up a Sport model last Friday, very happy so far. Initial observations: - road handle is solid - lane centering works very well - brakes are a bit soft, need a little more bite - ventilated seats were unexpected - V6 goes good - 3rd row seats don't fold flat - parking aids start warning later than expected - highway consumption looking about 9.5-10L /100 - 3 full car seats fit in second row

Thanks for the great overview of the new Everest Trend. Looks like a very appealing vehicle. I currently have a 2020 3.2 litre Ranger that I tow a Jayco Journey Outback caravan with (ATM 2654kg) but I think I'm sold on the new 4 cylinder Trend for towing and everything else.

Hi Webby, We are looking at buying a new Trend 4WD with the touring pack and was wondering what your thoughts are with the accessories "towing mirrors". We do occasionally tow our 17ft caravan. they are the Clearview brand and was wondering if you think they are a good add-on purchasing a new Everest or should not pay the expense and just add towing mirrors thanks :)
@WebbyOnCars Жыл бұрын
@nicolesutton950 It might be worth seeing what the standard mirrors are like before deciding if you need to change mirrors. The clearview mirrors are a good option if you do decided to swap them over though.

I think Ford should put the Ranger Raptor V6 engine in the Everest for the South African and Asia Pacific markets. Considering that the Bronco Raptor won’t be sold in South Africa or the Asia Pacific region (that includes Ozzyland as well), I think Ford should make an Everest Raptor SUV.
@WebbyOnCars2 жыл бұрын
@Dave D’Video Maker That sounds like a great idea, I’d love to see an Everest Raptor!

Hi Webby, great review. Thanks for the info. Got a question if you could help me with. I'm waiting delivery on a Trend but want to put in 17" Ambiente wheels to gain more room for a thicker tire and yet not impact the overall diameter of the wheel+tire. Do you think it will have any issues putting in a 17" Ambiente wheel to a Trend? Thnx
@WebbyOnCars2 жыл бұрын
@Manora Koththigoda I think it would be fine, because if you order the off-road pack on an Ambiente you get the 18” wheels from a Trend
