Just 24 goals scored in 24 games by United, and Amorim splurges 30 million on a full back. Why? Madness Amorim. United are the 4th lowest goal scorers in the PL. DUH - United need a 20+ goal a season forward and a change in the way they play so they create more chances for their forwards. Amorims' players are not aggressive enough. They walk with the ball far too much. There is almost no pressing. 50/50 balls are lost to often. Too many passes give the ball away. There is not enough movement from his players. Tracking is not good enough. There are not enough attempts on goal etc Today the decision to play Mainoo as a forward was lunacy. Amorim needs to start concentrating on organizing his players so they do the basics right.

Sometimes in life you need to go backwards to enable yourself to move forward. This is the season United have needed for about 5 or 6 seasons. I hear people criticising Amorins system, I don’t care which system we use, but pick one stick to it, turnaround players which fit and don’t fit, be patient this takes time. We all know it will, this season is dead, but then it’s good for Amorin. With a summer and No European next season, I see us improving a lot, nowhere near top 4 but much better. I’m willing to wait, back the manager.

As soon as I saw the line up, I knew it was going to be a long day at the office. Mainoo did well at 10, why play him upfront as a 9 or false 9??? Then, the subs... Why did they take so long? Eze coming on should have rung a bell. Zirkzee and Holjund coming on brought absolutely nothing and to make it worse, Martinez got injured. Ten Hag was criticized for his weird line ups and subs but I have to call out Amorim on his tactics today. This loss is mostly on him.

For the 2nd goal, Zirkzee gave the ball away under no pressure. The rest of the team didn’t expect that and they were shock. Yoro moved up trying to make a up-side trap but Maguire didn’t follow and continue used to move back. I fully agree that the United players were physically weak and always lost the 1st and 2nd ball. Passing was poor. Players did not move to find a good position to receive the ball. In most of the time, they stood still after passing. So, they just failed to find space. The right wing back played almost as a left back. The manager is probably right. This Man United is probably the worst in the Man United history.

I'll say it until the end of Eriksen's career. WE NEED ERIKSEN BESIDE UGARTE(not one or the other, BOTH). The middle of the pitch is completely avoided in the buildup.. It doesn't need to be. Eriksen has the vision to get the play up to Fernandes quickly and have Fernandes unlock the final 3rd with passing into either Garnacho, Amad or a striker. Hoyland is always falling over or wrestling with the opposition instead of positioning himself for a shot at goal we badly need a striker because them two guys are not good enough

I know our forwards are having a bad season but putting someone up front with no pace isn't the answer, because he's not going to get on the end of any driving runs and crosses that come in from the wings or win any one on ones with balls over the top. Broken record I know but it's an absolute disgrace that a club of our standing has no proven goal scorer (s) in that centre forward position. It's Ground Hog Day match after match at Old Trafford these days.

Bang on with the opening comment about lack of physicality Tony 💯 We all know about the tragic final 3rd approach play, but the way United gets bullied week in week out is as big, if not a bigger problem!!! We miss DeGea now right! Maguire is useless! Yoro is useless! Where’s Pallester and Bruce! So no Toby Collyer? What ? No Eriksen? Why? Mainooas striker? The way the players were setup at the start was a disaster. The training sessions don’t look good to me. Standing in small circles passing ball around is not going to work when you go play on a massive pitch like Old Trafford where you need passing of 15 to 25 yards between players. We can’t pass with speed over those distances nor can we do one touch passes! It’s pathetic.

I don't share Tony's confidence in the Europa League, the last two matches, Rangers and FCSB are two bang average sides and we didn't look that good, we'll meet better quality in the knock outs.

Have we ever been this bad? Its utterly depressing and playing Mainoo up front has to be the most baffling decision ive ever seen, hes a good player hes that slow it always looks like hes running in a swimming pool. Im convinced Amorim is trying to get sacked to get a pay off. We were bad to watch under Ten Hag but this is a whole new level of crap.

We all knew these players weren't good enough, Amorim soon agreed and confirmed it publicly. What worries me is that people are still shocked when we lose. Until Amorim gets players willing or capable this will continue. So, all you internet fans can stop complaining about our manager because he is fully aware of what needs to happen.
