The color makes a very sophisticated look beyond just being a '71 Cutlass convertible.

Really love the looks of this car prefer it over the 442 actually just cleaner and simpler looking. Think I'm going to buy one if I can find just like this car.

These are 20k, much more desirable than notchback cutlass supreme. Also, no one ever takes about how these were a better built car than a chevelle or whatever. You get a whole lot of value and fun buying one of these cars. I got a 72 GTO and I would trade for one of these.

Ahh that Oldsmobile rumble. I had a 71’ Cutlass S. Silver/black interior with black vinyl top. The wheels were not rallyes like those shown here they were similar to Buick rims or magnum 500’s. But they were Oldsmobile. Oldsmobile always top quality.

End of an era. GM power, relative dependability, joy of driving, comfortable, beautiful, confident, the car for new interstate driving. Every badge had a car nearly like this, but this one was debatably best. By late 72 that was all fading. GM was retooling badly and cheaply. Vegas and Astros on the rise, no HP, thin metal, cars barely assembled and being finished in the dealer service bay or during the warranty. Big cars like this with thirsty V8s tuned down to 150HP that could barely navigate. Cars wouldn't last much past the warranty.

Don’t need to be nasty. It’s worth whatever someone will pay.

John Howard yep. The brown paint gets you a nice looking deep saddle leather color interior most don't have. I like the tach. Mine was light green with a dark green interior. Brown is an unpopular car color, thus I think it is more interesting than gold, white, red, etc... 20k is a better buy than $20k on any new car you can find for that price. A very comfortable, fun and easily repairable precomputer car that only gets more valuable, vs buying a Civic that depreciates and needs highly specialized service as it ages.
