Thanks for this solid review. I have the 22 inch but I need a larger one for larger and multiple briskets. This review sold me. I’m definitely getting the 26 one now.

Howdy, great to see you back at the cabin. Yes sir that 26" is nice. I'd like to get one someday. But I have four 22" so probably not. Keep the 22" , you never know when you need more grilling space( try baking a pie in the 22" when grilling with the 26") Anyway big news. I actually did a introduction video a couple of months back. I've tried doing a few more but honestly I don't like using my cell phone as a camera. I'm planning on getting a dedicated camera soon though so hopefully I'll be getting going regularly soon. Jf you check out the video you will see my "new leg". Anyway have a great day.

just a heads up for your viewers. If you buy a new 26" today, they no longer come with baskets. It has a "charcoal rail" instead. It clips onto the charcoal grate.

Great to see a new video from you. I've been watching since the fire escape days and always enjoy the cooks.

Have both as well, and absolutely prefer the 26". Yes the 22 has more accessories available but for how I use these 90-95% of the time, straight up grilling over coals and wood, I have more area for both grilling surface and a cold zone for when flare up start. I use my 26" far more. And like you, use my 22' with a rotisserie.

I was told by a dealer that the steel is thicker on the 26" so the bbq retains heat better. Also, the cooking grate on the 26" is stainless steel.

The 22" master touch has a stainless steel grate as well. The lid of the 26 is much, much heavier than the 22, so I think it probably is thicker construction all around.

I love my 22 inch but that extra space is tempting! Looks like it could easily fit a couple of rib racks or do two pork shoulders at once. Nice 👍🏻

The 26" was by far the grill I used most this summer. It's just an excellent grill. Definitely spacious. Cheers!

I have a Weber 26" kettle. It's W-A-Y bigger than the 22" . . . almost 40% greater cooking area. I LOVE it!

Imagine the Ranch kettle sitting next to it. I have each size, and it really is shocking in person each time.

My cheap barrel grill is rusting out after one year, covered! I was thinking going nuts with a Hastybake but wow; the wallet throb. I had a 22 inch Weber and found it a bit small. I think I'm taking your advice! Thanks!

I have a 26 and 2-22s. You nailed the differences. You can adapt the Spider Venom to fit it also. The leg welds should have been designed stronger.

I'll be picking up a used 26 tomorrow and can't wait, they are a bit hard to come by in Canada. I've compromised with my wife to sell the Perfomer and copper top. At least i get to keep the jumbo joe for sides and travel 😅 I think this might be my ideal setup - might miss the rotisserie, but I'm not too worried about it.

@guysgrub … I’ve adopted the « better to ask for forgiveness than permission » method. Multiple SSP, a 26 & a Ranch. Side by side, the size difference is truly astonishing!

Love the 26”. Weber would a run the 26” if they’d would come in the same color palette as does the 22”.

Great review! Though I think it’s a bit too big for my small patio. I’ll just go with the 22in 🤙🏽

...if only my wife did not keep track on my grills. Maybe I could swap my 22 to a 26 without her noticing? How much more charcoals does the 26 need vs the 22?

Pretty much the same. or As much as you want to use! lots of space on the 26. LOTS of space.

I need a 26" inch weber. Have you checked out the Huntsman Spider Grill? They also make a blower for the Weber for temperature control.

I'd say the 26-inch is kind of amazing. Really enjoying it. Got it from someone who had sold their home and was moving. What a score! I haven't seen the Huntsman Spider Grill. I'll check it out. Cheers!

Do you think you could do 2 briskets at the same time on the 26"?
@GallaghersGrub
@GallaghersGrub 3 ай бұрын
I guess it would depend on how big the briskets are. My initial thought would be no, but I might be wrong.

This is exactly the reason why I need a 26 inch. I believe you could easily smoke 2 15-pound briskets on this bad boy.
