Great review! Though I think it’s a bit too big for my small patio. I’ll just go with the 22in 🤙🏽

Great video buddy. I had forgotten you're trick of doing the band saw thing. Great way to strech the appetizers budget plus great serving size for small children. Have a great day.

The black probe is making contact with the leg. Wondering if that might affect the ambient temp for that probe

Have both as well, and absolutely prefer the 26". Yes the 22 has more accessories available but for how I use these 90-95% of the time, straight up grilling over coals and wood, I have more area for both grilling surface and a cold zone for when flare up start. I use my 26" far more. And like you, use my 22' with a rotisserie.

Thank you for posting this I live in Massachusetts and I actually own a Weber Genesis 1st edition 1985 my dad purchased when I was only 12 years old (I'm now 51) and the grill still looks brand new. Granted I take car of is and replace parts occasionally but after almost 4 decades of New England winters it has stood the test of time. They don't make things like they use to!

So. Make the thing three times larger. With a proper grease bin. Bacon grease is not bad for you. Carbs are.

Isn't really a fair comparison the griddle steak is going to get all the smoke flavour from the grill steak, need to use separate BBQs to get a proper comparison

Great job buddy I cleaned mine last week it's spotless well almost. I spotted the release pins and removed the lid and cleaned it in the kitchen. it's the end of the summer so you need to clean it for the winter as it's very humid, damp and mould is rampant in Irelands winter. I'm very happy with you intuition on how to remove the burner I thought the bolt was just holding the electric starter 5* thanks I will remove this and clean it on the weekend..... Look forward to watching your cooking videos Mr Gallagher...... You the man from Brian in 🇮🇪

Great vid once again. Beef is our family favourite here but it's very expensive compared to pork. I manage to cook brisket and ribs on my Weber Q to great effect. Keep on grillin'!
@GallaghersGrub29 күн бұрын
Beef is definitely more expensive than pork here too. These ribs were about $10/lb. I can get pork baby back ribs for about $4/lb. Keep on grillin'!

Looks like brisket on a stick! about only thing i haven’t tried smoking, this is convincing me to give it a go. How do you like the remote temp probe? I’m not thrilled with the range of the original meater one I have, so thinking of getting a different type / cheers from the west coast 🍻
@GallaghersGrub29 күн бұрын
It essentially is brisket on a stick. Definitely give it a go. These probes are good. The ambient temp isn't very accurate because it's so close to the meat, but the internal temperature seems very accurate. This is gen 2, with a 600 foot range from the base to your phone. I broke my gen 1 version by putting them in the grill without being inside any meat. I did a review on both gen 1 and gen 2 if you want to check them out. ThermoPro sent me the gen 1 for free. The gen 2 I bought myself. Cheers!

Howdy sir 🤠. Great to see you put something up. Hopefully we will see a few more before closing up the cabin. Soooo, if you're wondering what has happened since I posted my first video a few months ago, wellll? My vision went all to hell on me. Hell I finally purchased a dedicated camera for my videos ( the DJI Osmo pocket 3). I love it but my vision is so bad I can't really use it OR do anything on my laptop. I had surgery about a month ago and the vision is improving. Hell I can't even drive my car/pickup or jet boat to go fishing etc but things are getting better. I'll let you know when I'm finally posting up. I know you have heard me say this for awhile but with the purchase of the camera I HAVE to start posting as soon as possible. Have a great day.

Just a tip... The thickest /densest part of the chicken would be the breast, not in the joint between the leg and thigh. If you monitor the breast, you'll cook it to the right temp to be fully cooked, yet still moist and juicy.
