Yep. I picked one of these up for Christmas. I love this thing. Works awesome. Now I can watch all of the temps of my two grills at the same time off of one unit. Anyone want a gently used Smoke! I don't think I will be using it much anymore since getting this one.

To be honest, I think the Smoke will probably get more use in the long run at my house. Most of my long cooks are pretty simple nowadays and I rarely have multiple roasts or multiple grills going.

I have a WiFi blue tooth Grilleye plus. I found if I don't blue tooth link it to my phone then I don't have to deal with those annoying disconnected alarms but can still get temp alarms as set by preference. Just a thought.

Great review. I like the wedge design vs the kickstand on the smoke. If you stick it to the frame of a grill the screen is angled upwards a little bit. It would be cool if it would work with the smoke WiFi bridge to make it reach further. The smoke with the gateway is nice because you make sure the bridge is within your WiFi range then the smoke receiver can be up to 300ft from the bridge. It really lets you span some distance. I do like the colored rings for the probes. I need to see if they are selling those to add to my smoke probes.

Troy, are you going to review the Thermoworks Billows that works with the Signals?

I have 8 pro probes and 5 of them have developed pitting on the barrel. Thermoworks says, "Too bad, the warranty is 6 months and you are out of luck." I have about 6 probes with other units in use for over 5 years and NONE OF THE PROBES have any pitting. Only Thermowork probes are made of substandard materials.

I have Smoke and Gateway. It's absolute junk. But, I took a chance on Signals. And it's great. I'm glad I gave ThermoWorks another try. The Smoke worked good enough to get me through cooks. The Gateway never really did work. Maybe twice. I misplaced Smoke and Gateway. I can't find em. And I'm not looking for them anymore either. LOL

How would you compare the inkbird 6 probe and meater block to the thermoworx products?

I havent tried the inkbird personally but I have the meater+ and the nice things about the signals compared to the Meater line are 1.) better reliability and build quality 2.) The Meater+ requires an extra device to bridge from bluetooth to wifi (another tablet or phone) and the signal is all in one 3.) My meater+ loses signal constantly which is a pain!

I'm curious about this as well. Bluetooth seems like it would only be necessary if you weren't at home, otherwise just use WiFi. I'm not a fan of bluetooth as it always disconnects whereas I have an extender in my backyard so I have WiFi coverage throughout.

I found the Signals to be complete garbage. I never could get the alerts to work. Meat would hit temp and nothing, maybe a silent pop up on my iPhone. Silent popups are useless when smoking overnight and I sleep through the brisket's stall. After 1 ruined brisket and 1 ruined pork butt, I spent an hour on the phone with thermoworks support. They could not get it to work either. To their credit I returned the device for a full refund. I dense up buying a Smoke 4X. It does not have WiFi ao it cant's alert when I'm out of the house. But it alerts every time without fail.

8:25 should have bought a samsung. I can control every single notification for every app individually. turning them off/on and changing the sound for each one.
