Webflow workspaces, roles & permissions - Simplified work with teams

Working with teams in Webflow just got easier and more powerful. With Workspaces, it is now easier to organize and manage your team and your sites. With roles & permissions, you can configure which team members are administrators, which can design, and which can design and publish at the site level and also at the workspace level. You can also set team members as editors. We also show how to move sites between workspaces.

I wanted to create the sub-account and will allocate the selected templates under the client’s account. Client will login on Webflow he can change the content of defined widgets (eg. website logo, change about us, change images etc.). But won’t be able to change the website layout. Which plan will suit me?

Hi there, thank, that was helpful. Pricing isn't mentioned in the video, can you please clarify - if an agency has an existing Webflow account with a workspace that the agency works in but wants to create a new workspace for a freelancer, does the new separate workspace for the freelancer require a paid plan on top of the existing workspace? or is it covered by the account plan already in place?

i have core plan workspace which is it should be allowed 3 members. But the team menu said 1 of 1 seat and the invite member is grayed out. why is this happening to me? i already paid for the core plan.

Wish we could give admin access to customers directly without a members plan. It always forces me to into a weird position to either make them a Webflow account or transfer it once its done. (Which is a bit of a hassle when it's already launched.) I would happily let them get the same access over their website as me.

1:25 Grimur adds 70 seats.... so does this mean his boss is going to have to fork our $3,430 per month? While I love the new granular control over access, sadly I feel the pricing is now more confusing than ever! I currently have a 2 seat team with 40+ sites. 90% of these are snapshots for reference over time (given the lack of version controls). Currently we pay $84/mth for this. Under the new workspace plan will we be paying $38/mth or $98/mth ?

Hey Chris, for 2 seats and 40+ sites will require a Growth plan for the Workspace which will be $120 per month for two seats. It calculates to $98 per month if paying annually. Hope that answers your question.

Agreed, I was looking forward to this but now it feels even more expensive and extremely confusing. Actually tempted to look for alternatives instead 😥 one single growth seat cost as much as one seat of the entire adobe creative suite.

Would someone kindly give me some advice. I am about to put my first ever webflow site onto a site plan, what I would like to know is, can I delete the original design from my workspace or does it have to stay there for the entire life of the live site. If I do delete it, how would I edit it if needed. Appreciate any advice Pete

Hey Pete! When you add a site plan there is no need to "duplicate" the site, you're adding a site plan to the existing site which will allow you to deploy to a custom domain (amongst other functionality). Feel free to reach out to support at [e-mail] if you have more qs!

You can only clone websites that have been made available for cloning by the developer

All this confused the hell out of me. I usually work this way: my clients hire a site plan so they can use a custom domain and they give me the login acces so I can design the site. How much do the client needs to pay now, what plan does he/she needs to work in the same way? Please I need urgent help, I client just hired the site plan and now I realize it's wrong (and it would be more expensive?) please Webflow guys, help!
