Using the color picker and global swatches - Webflow tutorial (using the Old UI)

Choosing colors for your fonts, backgrounds, borders, etc. is one of the most common taks you'll perform when designing a website. Webflow's color picker has three primary uses, which we'll walk through in this video:
1. Picking a color
2. Setting opacity
3. Creating and using swatches
We'll also talk a bit about Webflow's global swatches, which let you easily reuse and update colors across your websites.

Since the UI update, there is no option to add a swatch apparently, I'd be great to make an update on this video :)

Yea im following the hayes valley tutorial and can't find it at all (color picker)..This is really annoying to be new to a program try and follow a tutorial and everything is not where it is in the tutorial video!

Yeah, as I discovered, the UI changed last year. So, many of the videos show a different user interface. The Designer Navigator is on the left now. There is no eyedropper for any browser except Chrome (and it is an extension that must be added), all saved swatches are Global Swatches now. Hard for them to update the videos as there are so many with the former UI. Best to just to get familiar with the changes in your designer window and learn it as best you can. Lots of help on the forums.
