why are u setting ORACLE_SID=ORCL on standby box (is that suppose to be ORCLSB) before U connect rman ?

first you need to connect ORCL source database via RMAN so I set env to ORCL and connect to RAMN. after connecting to RMAN I will connect to ORCLSB. SO that I can directly close ORCL DB from source target database without backup.
