Well ... maybe the train has superconducting magnets to float the whole train. If the track must be made out of permanent magnets... well, thats one expensive traintrack...

THERE IS NOT SUCH THING AS FREE ENERGY THERE IS A COST TO BUILD ANY PRACTICAL MOTOR! WHAT I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IS WHY NO ONE GETS' IT RIGHT. NOT ONE OF ANY I HAVE EVER SEEN ON KZbin OR IN PERSON SIMPLY DON'T WORK THEY ARE NOT SELF STARTING AND HAVE USABLE TORQUE. NOT TO THOUGH COLD WATER ON YOUR EFFORTS BUT IT IS POSSIBLE WITH THE RIGHT MAGNETS !!!!

You're correct, I think these motors are over 96% efficient, that is axial flux motors in general. I think this is total electrical energy in versus total mechanical energy out. Hysteresis in the magnetic fields, resistive and impedance are the source of the losses in the circuit, the motor bearings and gear train introduce a tiny bit of friction.
