To be honest, I'm a bit skeptical about the fact they said where we have to do lots of Self-Studying and lots of readings, honestly I'm more of an active person and was looking for more active and practical courses and I do not know if UvA provides that.

Hi, Tamy! You can enter the field of journalism after graduating from Media and Culture. You may find that doing an internship in this field during your studies will contribute a lot. In the third year of the programme, students have the freedom to choose whether they want to do a minor, go on exchange or work as an intern for a semester, so there are possibilities for you to explore your interests.
