I am not sure if this is a silly question or not but i am going to ask anyways. I have situations where we get a breakdown report sent in and need to create a service order to dispatch a technician to do an assessment. Once on site, the technician will establish if the problem will be covered by warranty or not based on the cause etc. If it is decided that this work need to be quoted on, how will I then create a quote that is still linked to that service order? I want the incoice to show all of the costs including the assessment, and at the moment the only way i can see this workin is by then creating a seperate quote and order. Any ideas?

Hi @JasonOlelofse, you would need a customization to tie the service quote back to the service order…there's nothing out of the box for this that we're aware of.
