Jayalalitha was a 100% Tamil. Years back, when I visited Nellore town in Andhra Pradesh, the local person who accompanied me showed me Jayalalitha's maternal grandfather's younger brother's ( Bhashyam Iyengar) house near the Ranganadha swami temple and said that they are arava vaaLLu, meaning they are Tamilians. They came here to do temple work. The whole Agraharam is Tamil-speaking, he said. In Chennai, our landlord's wife happened to be the first cousin of Jayalaitha's mother. That is, my landlady's father was the younger brother of Jayalalitha's maternal grandfather, Ranganadhan ( may be the above-said Bhashyam Iyengar was my landlady's father) and Jayalalitha's mother was the eldest granddaughter of the family and so, she was married off at the very young age of eleven years.

I am really proud of that now truth came out my grandparents use to tell us jayalalitha grandmother and jayalalitha mother are neighborhood friends in my childhood I use to play in that temple and banks or the penna river near to that temple. I am proud that I also from Nellore.

But Andra played tricks and added these to it. TN Congress leaders were didn't bother for that move. Like that, Idukky, Trivandrum, Bangalore were left from TN, though lot of indigenous Tamils living there. PMK, leader Dr.Ramadoss revealed about the mistakes of not adding Tamil areas into TN in 1966.
