@wpbeginner Hi great video, however, I have a different scenario I was wondering if you could address? I have access to my server file manager but do not have access to the backend (admin dashboard) and I don’t have a recovery point URL. I do have access to previous scheduled backups but was wondering if you could advise how to restore without the recovery URL? Much appreciated.

If you have access to the backup file, you would want to use the installer.php file to re-install your site from the backup.

Watching this video because it says "Website Migration .." Unfortunately, this specific task isn't covered or mentioned during the "recovery" dialogue. Can you "recover" from the backup to a completely clean domain and end up with your "beautiful" website? I look forward to your reply

Yes you can, in case it helps, our written guide covers this as well and goes a bit more in-depth for the migration process :) www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-to-a-new-host-or-server-with-no-downtime/

I had an issue when I migrated my database, it created duplicate lines of data in the database so my forms would not work. Does this happen with duplicator pro?

It should not cause duplicate lines of data when using duplicator.

@@wpbeginner thank you. The process was easy and did not create any duplicates in my DB.
