No joke, I literally had to go to the Brecon Beacons to find a shop (Marsh Powersports), where I could actually see and try the gear on! So glad that Devon's getting a dealer!

Thanks for the watch, and for the comment! It's early days, but hopefully can grow into something that people find helpful. The next challenge is finding a premises. Thanks again for the support! Ride safe

Cool video buddy! I'm in the market for something I can take offroading as well as go the distance and the Himalayan has it's advantages but i'm also looking at the Honda CRF250's. any thoughts?

Thanks for the watch and the comment! It's a tough call, both are good bikes. The CRF250 is smaller, lighter and more powerful however personally I wouldn't want to ride on any great distance, although you absolutely could! I previously had a KTM EXC-F, so similar to the CRF250, great bike and very capable (more so than me!) but after about an hour of riding I'd need to stop and take a break, and the same goes for my Beta 2 stroke I have. I wouldn't want to do any type of distance on them etc. The Himalayan on the other hand is heavier, lower power (unless you opt for the 450, which I haven't ridden...yet!) and not as 'refined' - however, for me I really enjoy riding it. I find it to be capable off road with a few tweaks, knobbly tyres and removing foot peg rubbers etc, and on road it is really at home on A-Roads and smaller. Never going to eat the miles like a bigger adventure bike, but that is not its bag. If you can ride both, I definitely would - even on road, you might find you just gel with one more than the other. I hope that waffle helps! Ride safe!

@@almostenduro cheers for the detailed response. The problem I have is there’s so many options haha! I’ve even looked at BMW GS650 which is apparently good, but like classics like Armstrong MT500 also… I’ve subscribed and looking forward to more content 👌🏻

No problem! Yes, there is a lot of choice - I was thinking about a GS650 too, or even a Fantic Caballero Explorer. But in the end the Himalayan won the toss. Thanks for the subscribe, Ride safe!
