hello :) I did everything described in the video, the only thing i"m stuck with, when I use the taxonomy filter in my website for some unknown reason I hit the spanner and I don't have any items which are the custom field that I made like the example you put in this video...... so I can't connect this code snippet with the elementor taxonomy filter, can be nice if you make video showing live example that the custom field really connect to the elementor taxonomy filter and grid so I can avoid use the wordpress AFC plugin

Are these then accessible within elementor pro for dynamic use?

Yes, so you would click the Dynamic Tags and select Post Custom Field - then hit the spanner. Now you have to type in the ID, ie: the Reading Time ID is reading_time. So enter reading_time and it will return it.

No issue but sometimes it’s an extra hassle to keep on top of when major updates occur and then you got to maintain the child theme too

Another great video. For someone with moderate skills would this method be relatively safe? Could I break my site inadvertently? When would you recommend this over ACF? Thanks

If you only needed a few basic fields then this over a whole plugin would be fine.

problem i found is when you deactivate the snippet, it dows not erase the custom field on the database... do you have a solution for that?

I didn't get that problem when i deactivated it.
